as someone with 4000 hours, 3000 in air rb... i have noticed zero change. i always assumed the reason that you don't need anticheat enabled to play air battles was because aimbot is inherently inaccurate when you have bullet travel and your targets are sometimes literally moving at the speed of sound, and esp is pointless because everyone is in the open air and can be spotted as a black dot when far away. literally no one cheats in air rb, and if they are, the benefits from doing so are negligible.

Ok so now for real, this plane is very good grinder for germany air tree, you can take 12 dumb/normal bombs and put 6 as drop series for easier time, that's 2 bases which is abt 20k exp per game (if you're not dumb fu or smb hard target's you) and then you have 2 possible kills with 9L's AND the most important thing other grinder for germany is Mig-21... so yeah its worth, overall ok vid but that's my take on it so no hate

I thought it was about on par with the other F4F at 10.3, or maybe worse. I have the MFG, which is essentially the same as the WTD61. I'd say it's okay if the only thing you do is to bomb a point or along a street with a large 1000 lb payload in GRB while disadvantaged(of course, you don't want to damage friendlies) and return to reload. Otherwise no.

Imo its the rival of the f4s. F4s has better initial turnrate and speed but in the extended fights the tornado comes out on top in both speed and turnrate. If it still has fuel left, that is. Also the tornado can get to bases faster guaranteeing at least 1 basebombing.

The funny thing is the Technical Department for Planes of the Bundeswehr (Wehrtechnische Dienststelle für Luftfahrzeuge und Luftfahrtgerät der Bundeswehr) dont use Marie Tornado instead its the same as the army (heer) so dont know why guided bombs are missing

The Weapons Technical Department 61 variant's party trick in my limited experience is locking a static target in CCRP, diving to the deck, charging in at Mach 1.2, then nosing up for automatic release 5+ kilometers outside the battle before diving again and running away. All the tornados can do this, but the WTD61's prototype skimpiness grants it a lower BR that almost pairs well with the Leopard 2A4 pzbt123

F-4F never carried AIM-9J IRL, it had AIM-9L. Gaijin: but it had the ability to carry 9J so we give it that. Tornado IDS premium carried LGB IRL, I have seen people posting real fotos on the forum with them equipped. And it at least has the capability of carrying them. Gaijin: We need source documentation. Tornado never carried LGB. That'll be 70EUR. Please and thank you.

I will get this thing defiantly... for sim battles. I love bombing and having a fast 2 base killer will make me do 40k score for events in like 1h-1h:30 min of game-play! ​@MultiAlex226 Yeah, that's what gets me too. We get some really cool stuff with Germany, but their contemporaries get versions I'd rather have. We get the best strike aircraft variant with the Tornado ASSTA, but countries like the UK get fighter variants with Skyflashes and Aim 9s, carrying 8 missles plus flares. We get a great Phantom, but since its not the ICE, its not as nice as the upgraded UK or Japanese one. The best we get is the MiG 29G, which is definitely the best MiG in the game. But it just sucks because the aircraft tree starts off so strong. Even the ground tree at top tier is amazing, its just the jets that suffer.

I did a video on the F.3 and really like it. It's a great plane that fights substantially better planes. In a downtier, it can dominate, whereas in uptiers it can still be competent. The WTD61 is not like that at all. It is incompetent as it currently stands.

The issue is with the F3, Its 12.3 every game. At that BR its slower then everything, and fatter then everything. If something gets behind you, your only real hope is air breaks, thrust reversers, and hope they over speed.

Not the best, but if you bring 5 bombs you can only kill a base but you'll out pase everyone else on the way there. Doing this I have gained an average of 10k a match with prem time and went from rank 5 to the mig 29g in a couple of weeks within 200-300 matches in it. I do not at all regret my purchase. (Especially since I suck at fighting planes and somehow I get more kills in this than the lazur m.)

Both Tornado IDS' in the German tech tree are similar, the only reason why the premium is better is because its a prem, its the same, if not worse than the event Marine Flegar Tornado.

In my opinion it is a very nice plane... you just have to know how to use it best. In my opinion the best strategy is to have two lodeouts, the first one only with 6 bombs and the second one with 10 bombs. You start the match with the first lodeout and then fly as fast and low as you can to the next base, bomb it and return to the airfield. After the landing you j-out and than equip the second lodeout to destroy the left over base`s. If youre team has destroyed all of the bases than the new ones will have spawned in by the time you start from the airfield. Also there wont be thant many players left so it is easy to get 3-5 bases in one match. With the first lodeout you are also much faster than most other planes (F-4 etc.) so you will be able to get one base atleast. In my opinion it is a very nice grinde plane. I have grindet nearly the whole german Planetree within one week, playing 2-3 hours per day ( i was at br 8.7). It is importaned to knwo that this plane was never intendet to be used as a fighter so do not try to use it like one. If used right it is very good and makes for a lot of fun.

I grinded a quarter of the German air tree with this vehicle in about 3 hours. If you wanna bomb bases with 12,000 lbs of bombs, this aircraft is perfect. It will get you a ton of rp if you play it like it’s supposed to be played. The tornado is a strike aircraft, not a fighter.

Currently neither. Talisman F-4F, Mig-21MF or the Swiss Hunter, if you reached rank VII. If you are only starting Germany, get Ju-288 and grind with this instead. Though there is no future for this TT. It will only get Alpha Jet and Typhoon. Maybe F-35. That's it. Mig-29 is not worth it anymore. Go play China or USA instead. Speaking as someone who spaded nearly every German plane.

As the other guy said, what Germany currently has is everything it'll have basically. Typhoon is gonna take at least a year to be added and alpha jet is only a gimmick plane in lower top tier. Anything else that can still be added would be vehicles from other nations, like swiss or Austrian planes, but don't count on those being added.

Don't start grinding the German tech tree, it has no future. Germany is currently only missing the alpha jet and the typhoon, then it has every vehicle ever used by Germany added. Anything else would come from other minor nations like a Belgian f-16, but nothing the others wouldn't also get.

Just wait until it can carry 4 giant cruise missiles as part of its 'historical' load out. The plane was an early/testing version of the tornado and will probably never get anything besides what the tornados got when they entered service, while modern tornados have access to a lot of advanced missiles and air to ground stuff, it gets none of it because the game cant handle even more BVR fights or CAS launched from the airfield.

They're both ass but the Lazur is the better choice for grinding. That said, i bought the Tornado during a sale with a coupon for about 20$ and STILL regret the purchase. Like the guy said, can't bomb on high Br. Can't dogfight on high Br. And only 2 Missiles so can't even be a missile spammer.

My radar literally never even showed a single enemy. Even when i see them 10km away and have the radar directly pointed at him. Unless i go into aquisition mode my radar does absolutely nothing. Is there any setting i miss or something ? (And no i dont go into 147km mode and then dont see taegets close to my aircraft xD)

@@carrott36 most of the time towards the bases its low due to the constant Phoenix pressure. But even after "merging" or when flying at 3000+ feet, i never saw a return. The aquisition mode however works really well (Maybe its a combination: at first i am too low because of phoenixes and then i am too close to reliably see them on the 37km standard range, I'll try to see if lower range helps me get returns after getting into the fight)

2024 summer sales. It was a great pick. I have no German airial tech tree grinded out as a tank main and I desperadly needed a CAS anything (they have no helicopter good enough so a jet). In ground RB it's BR is 10.3 so perfect match to Leopard 4 premium if you will. I don;'t need this option as I have Leopard 2 A5 and A6 with a talizman on both already. But can be a sweet option for everybody interested in the premium leopard as well. I am an anti-air main with Pantsir ITO-09 FlaRakRad ect you name it I have it. I grind out the strongest anti air first and only go for MBT-as after they have anti air cover provided. I know how to give SAM systems a hard time. I have no issue apply this Tornado. Many of my other planes have to slow down because they they can't drop bombs supersonic while this premium Tornado can do it for me. Lack of guided ordenance? No big deal! Don't go high so don't die stupid from SAM players like me. Dead simple. In air RB I gave it a go as well. It was my worst time ever with the Turkish TAF starfighter because that one can't turn and basically defendless againt Tomact and other radar guided missile spamming jets. Tornado not only can deploy the biggest chaff but I can fight back all aspect IR missile to the Tomacts. Finally! Guns are not only great and don't let me down but I lock my radar on target and I have ballistics computer for the gun. Yes it have limited number of flare and chaff but they are bigger. Deploy them in critical moments only and forget pre-flare and you be fine. Being slow for a bomb bus and too late for base bmbing? I don't experience this issue ever not to mention I have so many bombs I can take out a bunch of ground targets on the way and still kill a base. Killing convoy of AI trucks and tanks is more fun and the reward isn't bad neither. After every youtuber vomited acid on this aircaft I had a ton of fun with it. I enjoy it and I don't care anyones opinion! The Starfighter came into the picture because of the Hungarian sub tree in the Italian tech tree. Yes that one is more painful but better than nothing. Between them it is the better one.

I got it and play 11.7 germany i carry 2 AIM9L and 5 1000IB bombs, the key is to not maximize bomb load and fly low, the AA missles are enough fly in low and drop bombs ur so fast the explosion wont kill you as you leave the drop zone.....I also have the MIG-29 SMT IMO this tornado isnt that bad

This vehicle is overpriced and overrated. The price is $69 for this vehicle but it can only carry dumb bomb, and 2 short range aa missles. Its warning radar is outdated tech, it can’t even survive against aa gun unit. Not worth $69
