What good does this do?! All Megadeth is doing is erasing themselves from history by blocking everything, no one is gonna know who they are 10 years from now, so now I'm never gonna ever cover Megadeth because they're blockers! Why don't I just watch the entire video muted to go along with this nonsense? If they really don't want us to play their music which is basically PROMOTING their music, then let's just not listen to them and let their music fade into obscurity.

No offense to all the others who perform this epic solo wonderfully but I can't ignore the optics. There's just something unmatched when you see the creator playing his masterpiece that cannot be duplicated. It's the same when I see Glenn Tipton playing his section of Painkiller, hearing Randy outro soloing on Tonight or Eddie tapping live to Eruption. Thousands can hit the notes but only one person started it all from scratch. Watching them on stage, bringing that vision to life remains as epic now as it was when I stood 15 ft in front of Randy watching him solo to Mr. Crowley decades ago. I envy those who are that close to Marty when he rips into this solo. 🤘

Broderick is a machine so sometimes he doesn't feel that good when compared to other guitarrist simply bc he focus too much in being perfect. Kiko is insane, he just jumps arounds, play the parts as close as he actually wants and just do a bit of his own thing, with perfect exectuion. temu just feels like kiko since he was trained by kiko. But man, marty just own that solo, in the newest version it sounds even better! it's like he actually perfected his style and expression with guitar, so it sounds autentic and fits so perfectly with the harmony that its just unbelivable! I wish I could watched him live. Marty sounds excepcionally unique, of course it was him who wrote that solo so it makes perfectly sense. His sound is not the best in that particular recording, but I think that overall he has the best chops of all of them. Basically that guitar is his b!itch and he completely dominates those strings. Flawless execution.

I think no one but Marty can do the weird descending part at the end of solo. Its the solo-writers signature right there. All of these guys are fkn awesome tho!

The best for me is Marty Friedman, because the solo is his, but in terms of stage presence, KIKO LOREIRO was the best! O melhor para mim é o Marty Friedman, porque o solo é dele, mas em termos de presença de palco, o KIKO LOREIRO foi o melhor!

As Marty always says, when you're on stage you need to feel what you're playing. That's the only way you can really reach people with your music, skill just isn't enough. Marty's executions are just full of passion, and I can only feel that kind of thing by Kiko and Teemu. They're the best after Marty in my opinion. All the the other guys, Broderick in particular, are great guitarists, but it ends there.

It's easy to say for a guy like Marty. In fact "feel" means literally nothing, because it's not him who feels something (he surely doesn't, he played the song hundreds of times before), it's you as a listener. That's where techniques come into play, you need to play good and have good understanding of music so listener would feel something. As for Kiko, he absolutely screwed up the last 4 bars of the solo. 0:48 - this is how they should be played. Teemo seems to be almost ideal here, almost like Chris Broderick was.

"All the the other guys, Broderick in particular, are great guitarists, but it ends there." Not really. All of these guys are great, but Broderick is just another level of skill. Marty is Marty, hard to compare this legend to anyone else.

Marty of course.. eventhough when on stage he played little bit different with the original records but his spontan played very autentic. He is Not only technical but his characters colours and identity is very strong as profesional Guitarist

Marty and Kiko, sound almost the same. I love Broderick, for me: 1. Marty 2. Kiko 3. Broderick They feel the energy, they’re very technical, and they look like they’re having fun.

#1 - Marty 2023 even though he does that extra long bend. Gives me tingles while he's playing. #2 - Kiko because he has that emotion in his fingers #3 - Broderick because he plays it flawlessly. Doesn't have as much emotion, but you can't fault his technical ability

Marty’s picking, vibrato, and phrasing are unique. No one can match. Brodericks version sounds like if you asked an AI to play the solo. I like Kikos version 2nd best
@gibtherockeryt10 ай бұрын
I couldnt agree more. Marty obviously as the original composer has an advantage. Kiko I liked a lot, it still has a lot of grit whilst being technical. Broderick is super clean but devoid of personality
