Tornado On Ride POV - M&D's Scotland's Theme Park

Tornado is a Pinfari RC70 that opened at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park in 1998. The ride stands at 78ft with the train making its way through 2 loops and reaching a top speed of 44mph. Tornado used to also feature a corkscrew inversion, however this was removed at the end of the 2006 season and replaced by a heavily banked curve.

I must’ve been on this 20 times a year, I LOVED how rough it was. It was just way more fun. Made you really feel the speed and more fear. I always had the shakes after this one and one time I got a concussion and was sick. Worth it, went right back on it after.

I miss tornado it was very rough Rickity fast thrilling exhilarating and fun it was the biggest and the best roller coaster in Scotland and at m&ds a shame that we don't any longer have it any more

Shawn, next time you're in Scotland you should check out Landmark Adventure Park. It has a lot of cool things to do including a junior coaster and some water slides. I mostly like it for the views though and walkthrough attractions.
