Fun fact, despite both of the Kiowa tornadoes being strong, the second one being massive, both were only EF0s due to not actually impacting anything to indicate damage levels. Just goes to show that the number after the F doesn’t mean shit half of the time, a tornado is deadly regardless of if it’s in a field or barreling towards a city (probably in Texas or OK).

Hi, I'm a new subscriber. In 2013 in the UK, less than 1 mile from my families home, I was stood upstairs in the top bedroom and captured a small funnel developing for several minutes. I had nightmares for two years seeing real BIG tornadoes opposite their home. I've noticed over the years for 13 years that even before that funnel incident occured, the clouds always seem to be a thick dark black and blue and it looks like a jet stream edge of a funnel on its side or a shelf cloud. I have documented several years of photo's and videos. If anybody wants to see it just let me know, and I'll be more than happy to share the photo's.

....Only ever under one tornado - in early 50's - split our town with the damage. Had several fairly close calls like the one headed toward our house that scooted back up into clouds about 2 blocks before it got to us. Thank God! And the one that blew a fence into my car as I came up on it unexpectedly. Those were scary enough; can't imagine doing what you did. Home town Columbus, Georgia.

I’ve been on a marathon of about 100 tornado videos on KZbin and never have I seen someone filming caught inside the tornado. Glad to see you alive to the day you read this comment.

I feel like I would shit myself if I was in a ride along with Hank and he said "I don't know what to do."
