One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen was multiple black spirals attempting to touch down on the way to Death Valley in California. There were at least four, two at a minimum on either side of my Subaru within a couple miles of me. I drove faster than I ever have before to clear that area, but I was simultaneously awestruck at how eerily beautiful the event was. (Mind you, these tornadoes were weak as hell compared to any of your footage, but for Nevada/California, yeah no. Rare and terrifying.)

The way you describe that Tornado "Tornadoes move like something of the living, and our brains aren't able to process something this large and alive, SO WE STARE" by far the best way to describe my fascination with these unbelievable forces of nature. I thank you for your unique style and for the best Tornado video's on KZbin! I wish you the best and somehow we need to get you your own TV gig brother. I live in Houston. During Hurricane Harvey we had 40 tornadoes touch down in one night. They weren't f-5 or anything, but hurricane winds, flooding, AND tornadoes spawned... the comparison is not really exact, because a hurricane contains those insane winds over a long period, and have tornadoes in it which are also part of that damage...

Hey, Hank! I remember the mother's day tornado as I was in Beaver Crossing as it pulled up while visiting some relatives of mine. My dad was a trained spotter and got me, my mom, and my brother out of there and sheltered before it hit. He was part of the search and rescue. I lived 11 miles northwest-ish from Beaver Crossing and it was pouring there, it was windy, and the sky was the same shade of green. We were lucky not to get hit badly. A few says later I joined the cleanup and the damage made me cry a bit. I'm glad everyone in my family made it out okay, as well as the others in the town. Happy chasing!

This video was just...jaw-dropping. You get some seriously amazing pics and footage, and write beautiful narration to go along with it. I think the cloud-to-cloud lightning was one of the most stunningly beautiful things I've ever seen in my entire life.

I love pecos hank's way of entertainment, that sense of you were there. The way he is more calm next to big behemoths whilst putting many animals and insects in between the videos giving a sense of relief, but hides in terrifying spinning death defying tornadoes in there with the music giving the ambience, I just love pecos hank.

Hard to do chasing in Dixie Alley. Hills and trees are enemies. Most of the time we can't see them coming in Tennessee. Love your videos. Stay safe, man.

Pecos how many EF 5's you've seen
@PecosHank8 жыл бұрын
Only one officially. Seen several other tornadoes with doppler wind recordings over 200 mph (the EF5 bottom line), in mostly open country.

Pecos Hank only one i thought you've seen at least 1-9 EF5s

Why the thumbnail change?
@PecosHank Жыл бұрын
Wild that you noticed. I took out the frames so you could see more tornado in the tiny thumbnails and the center tornado was too contrasty for me current taste.
