I own a very large shop and you can save about 20 mis by spraying a degreaser, let it soak for about 2 mins, they spray off with a pressure washer, and rinse dry. Done

yeah, a few of the dirtiest mats hes done, shit, I saturate with 200 degree extractor water mixed with a fabric shampoo, slam with a air drill with a carpet brush, vaccume, hang to dry and im on my way in 1min to the next floor mat. Im fixed location, in a poor region so I'm routinely getting cars that are pretty hammered, whatever cuts to the chase and attacks it the fastest and most efficent is usually my way

@dirtyneedles77 Жыл бұрын
Purple power is good stuff. Works great for floor mats, but I won't use a pressure washer on an interior. That's where this thing shines. Punch through, get in the thought spots, and don't drench everything. Quick cleanup. It's as effective as, definitely faster than & a lot cheaper than an extractor, plus it will do the entire interior. The only downfalls are it being a bit clunky & the air consumption.

For soiled carpet mats, I spray Heavy duty Greased Lightning on them and wash in washing machine with laundry detergent and a little fabric softener in rinse. They come out beautifully. Saves a ton of work and better results.

ryan1540 It essentially get's blown away. And just like every other thing in this world, everything has trade-off's. To all those PROS who power wash floor mats and are negative on the video here, I question you : Do you power wash the interior of a car too? The seats, the trunk, the carpets??? This is merely a demonstration on the Tornador ability to clean a carpet with the help of cleaning solutions. And the tool is amazing. Thanks Darren for a great video. If you are strictly cleaning floor mats maybe power washing speeds up the process, but how about DETAILING the car overall. Tornador is a very useful tool people!!!

Great product. At the dollar store USD $1.00 16oz. trigger sprayer bottle, USD $1.00 32oz. bottle no sprayer. I also think it consumes needles time to saturate mats and then try to suck a gallon of water out of the mat. Less soaking and you can cut down extraction effort. I use a Rigid 4 gallon 5 peak horse power wet & dry vac. It does a good job on interior and exterior blowing and the suction performance is very good too. Saved on an extractor.
@gackal19825 жыл бұрын
i agree with some of these comments, the ad made it look like it "sucked"the dirt out but it actually just pushes it deeper, what a disappointment nothing a good old pressure washer can't do

Just seems to be a lot of messing about to me? Whats wrong with prevac, prespray, agitation followed by hot extraction? This machine doesn't really extract, it moves the dirt around so the fabric looks cleaner... I bet if you used an extraction machine with a clear tool after this job, loads of dirt will still be removed Nice video though
@lonestarpatriot8768 жыл бұрын
Very simple, an extraction machine does not have the power to remove debris like this tool. It is a versatile tool that can be used with, or without liquid, and he is using a powerful wet/dry vac to extract any excess dirt and liquid which essentially does the same as an carpet extractor.

I like it most because it did not leave a residue and had little to no suds while applying. Awesome product and much cheaper if purchased in bulk.
@FuzzySvini6 жыл бұрын
Need to ask by learning: Doesn't the Super Degreaser stay in the mats when it drying, since you actually can't get all of it out with the microfiber cloth? I'm using Meg Apc or SD, brus and water so the chemicals are getting away. Then drying them with a microfiber cloth and hengs the up.
@scott1564 Жыл бұрын
The Tornador puts out a significant amount of water, even in vapor form, into the mat or whatever you're cleaning with it. It will saturate the item if you let it. The way the air works in the device is to move the water "through" (if you want to think of it like that) the material so whatever cleaning products are in there don't stay there. I think if you go over it with the Tornador enough, it will get the cleaner out of whatever you're cleaning. It may take some practice to be able to do it without saturating the item, but it can be done.

The high pressure is merely "pushing" the dirt through the material. It is not sucking it up. And you're demonstrating on mats that can be removed. What about the interior carpet that cannot be removed? You'd be introducing dirt and water below the surface - no thanks. That thing would be best suited for getting crud out of aluminum wheels or around doors or on door sills.
