With a 96 inch cut what prevents scalping of a lawn if the ground you are mowing is not perfectly level ?

The outer decks have a very robust anti scalp system with the same tire and wheels that you would find in the front castors of a Grandstand. The outer decks also have a range of motion from 10 degrees down to 15 degrees up to follow contours without scalping

I'll go the red green show route some duct tape & buy 2 48" mowers tie the steering, braking/throttle together,. If one engine or deck fails you still have the other one running.

@@mainstreetmower Lol. I actually bought an ego 42", thing zips for battery power & more than enough in terms of cutting power. Not exactly happy with deceptive battery life expectations of 4 batteries compared to real world, fortunately don't have a lot of land to mow. I just can't believe the prices on these kinds of mowers like in this video. Just 14 years ago my relative bought a actual farming tractor for $6000 & was pulling maybe a 6' deck with it. Mowing about 25acres in an hour with grass at least 3' tall most of the time, too big of ruts & holes for mower like shown in video here.

I’d rather find a good used Toro Groundsmaster 4100 with a 10 foot deck. 55hp Yanmar with 4 wheel drive. You need 4wd for a big deck or you can’t move if there is dew on the lawn. I put 10,000 hours on one without major repairs. Great for lawns 8-10 acres.
