Excellent content as always Greg B. I live in the DC area, our climate is similar to VA Beach. It's 90% Fescue and about 10% Zoysia. What is the breakdown of grass types where your located, and is core aeration popular down there or is the soil too sandy?

Hey buddy how's it going, and Thank you once again for checking out the video. Depending on the neighborhood with lots of development happening sometimes contractors bring in extra dirt and soil materials from other locations. So it can be sandy or clay ground depending where you live but definitely Oceanfront area is very dry Sandy dirt. From what I noticed around my area core aeration happens a lot towards fall season for the Fescue blend grass seed and spring season to make money Fescue grass seed. There is lots of people with various grasses here, Zoysia, Bermuda, in St Augustine as well... I know at the oceanfront at 17th Street, 24th Street, and 31st Street park stage they do needle tines and core aeration to loosen the ground from thousands of people walking on it so it won't be so compacted for the roots to try to grow through it.
