Thank you so much for this video! I just bought one and couldn't quite figure out how to put it together! Most of the other videos I ran across showed how to blow the leaves or suck them up (which was useless). The product instructions were no help in showing how to connect the required pieces, but your video very clearly displayed that. Like you, I bought it mainly for the vacuum feature. About to use it now....thanks again for taking the time to demonstrate how to put the pieces together, it is much appreciated!!

☘️ Thank you for your clear & concise information on the Toro Ultra Electric Blower & Vacuum-Mulcher❣️

I’ve had a Toro Blower Vac for about 20 years and it just quit on me. Right exactly at the end of my job. It just slowly ran out of juice. And that was it. Couldn’t get it to turn back on. I cannot believe how long it has lasted. I use it every time I mow all summer long. Only here to see if this one has that little extra new attachment. Tractor supply has it for $99. If you have a CITI Credit card they extend the warranty two years longer, than manufacturer YES, they do. I just got reimbursed this year for something that I used my credit card for and CITI sent me a check.✅

Just picked one up at HD, they price matched. For the cost / weekend warrior production ratio, it’s great! Thanks for taking time to review and give excellent narrative. I recommend it!

I have one I have been using for12 years it still works as good as it did then .I bought an extra bag so I can keep working and save trips to the garden.It's very powerful compared to other blowers I have seen.

thanks for the long term feedback; I agree it is a beast of a blower!

I've had one for 2-3 years now. I agree w/ everything said, it works well for collecting, shredding leaves. It also does a decent job of blowing them around. If you pay any attention at all while vacuuming, you will notice that it quits sucking far before it yeets the bag. My ONLY issue is that the knob is now not working quite right, if I turn it to full blast, it quits running. I've pulled it apart and cleaned a bit - no improvement so far. I'm not finding any info on this except that Toro does not sell any parts.

Great video! Some points in the instructions were not clear to me but your video cleared it all up. Thank you!

I am visiting my dad and had never used a blower before this one. Its a learning curve that I wasnt expecting, but once figured out, extremely cathartic! I think overall this thing is great and it felt very powerful. BUT...I am 5'2" and have found it very awkward to use it as a vacuum. Thats why I had to re-watch your video, I had forgotten to take off the blower tube and couldnt connect it. I'm going to try disconnecting the bottom half but the bag feels bigger than I am FFS, it felt like I was being attacked by Pig Pen! Also, I hate the power dial. I'm ALWAYS hitting it because of gloves or whatever and THEN it doesnt turn down how you feel it should making the situation worse. Other than those things I love it🤨 No, really I do, it's just not made for people on the more compact side. Speaking of which, the whole thing that prompted me to babble away was when you were talking about the cautionary tale of sucking up toys. I thought you were going to caution people about it sucking up their children. That was so funny to me, I don't know why. OK, got to get to work, thanks for video❤

I got a similar one for my grandpa a few years ago, toro 51609, and it's been a great blower. I haven't used it as a vacuum, only a blower, and I feel like it's very lightweight for how powerful it is. Ultimately I replaced it with a redmax backpack blower, as I found it was just better suited for the amount of leaves I was blowing.

I've had this blower for two years and this year the switch stopped working. Toror does a few things that will keep me from ever buying another Toro product for the rest of my life. When the switch went out, the thing to do was to take it apart and install a new switch. How ever, on this particular model Toro has gone out of their way to keep you from repairing it. They want you to buy a new one every two or three years. They stuck a screw inside the body that is not accessible from the out side , so, after you've removed all the screws, you still have to break it open to get into it. Once into it you'll find that Toro will not sell you a replacement switch. It's just another way they have of making you buy a new one. This should be an easy fix but Toror has, evidently, has a built in obsolescence. Keep away from Toro products.

The variable speed knob allows the blower feature to make a nice leaf pile , the machine will not function without the guard or at least the one I have doesn't

Can you leave the bag off and just blow the mulch everywhere as you go?

I have Oak Trees in backyard and their large leaves clog the plastic chute way too much when I’m vacuuming.

I thought it was a good idea, but the base they provide to cover the motor doesn’t fit like any video I’ve seen so I’ll be returning mine

How this one comparing to the one with the metal impellers?
@OnTheWorkbench Жыл бұрын
Go to 2:57 this does have a metal impeller and chews through small dry debris like a hot knife through butter (and even some moist debris too)

I can’t seem to release the blower attachment to put on the vacuum attachment instead. I push on the rough push “lever” and try to pry the attachment but can’t seem to budge it. I guess my 68 yr old female fingers don’t have the strength they did a couple years ago. Any suggestions?

Can the metal propeller be sharpened?
@OnTheWorkbench2 жыл бұрын
I don't see why not
@jjrossitee2 жыл бұрын
Doing that could change the balance of the impeller.
@RAVHornE2 жыл бұрын
Sharpening the impeller won't do much however, if one was to drill holes into blades to allow adding plastic grass trimmer line for extra mulching, just be sure the lines are short and even to balance impeller and the holes are tight to secure lines.
