Was Toronto airport gold heist an inside job? Police allege 2 Air Canada employees involved

An Air Canada employee and former employee are among the suspects Toronto police have identified in connection with the largest gold heist in Canadian history.
The 2023 heist at Toronto’s Pearson Airport made international headlines last year, after it was reported that 6,600 gold bars valued at over $20 million had been stolen.
Multiple people have been identified in connection with the case - which police now say was an “inside job.”

Last time I travelled through Pearson at baggage claim there were 3-5 Indian male employees who apparently spoke no English or were pretending not to understand handling everyone's luggage- taking them off of the conveyors and stacking them in a huge pile. When I asked what they were doing they just walked away and went to another flight's conveyor and did the same thing. Took forever to find my suitcase since they were no longer sorted by flight, just in a huge pile.

The guys that where arrested are just the workers. The real mngmt behind this are hiding in plane sight in city hall and in offices all over the GTA. This was a big pro job. Only the workers get nailed. And, these poor guys now have to deal with it...
