You should still go there if you can. Like you, I’ve driven by it countless times over the years - and I finally had to stop in. A nice piece of history, despite it being in the worst possible location.

Such a poignant reminder of our past. Always fascinated by the last survivors of neighbourhoods (e.g. a lone house in the midst of high rises).

I grew up in Etobicoke and drove by this and thought about it. Always thought it would have been a pain in the ass to navigate to.

It is not an easy site to get to … and if you miss the turnoff (which is easy to miss), you have to drive for 15 minutes to turn around and try again.
