Great video Johnny. Just to clarify, "If you want to go to Kitchener, you might have to take a bus after mount pleasant." No. Most trains on this line do go to Kitchener, hence the Kitchener line name. in fact some trips end at London Ontario. You must have been on a b line (increased service/express routes during rush hour). Also, yes you are correct. Malton is in Mississauga, because it is south of Derry road which is right there in your shot, slightly north of the station. Fun fact, Bramalea get's its name from the combination of Brampton, Malton, & Lea (the name of the farmer who owned the land it was built on).

Hi Johnny, great GO Train video to Brampton and everytime l hear the word Mississauga an intimidating image of pocket rocket and powerhouse "Hurricane" Hazel McCallion comes to mind. She seemed to hold the Miisissauga Mayoral position forever and if l remember rightly was in a constant battle with the Toronto administration. Best Wishes C.J.H.

4:14 You were so close too! If you look at the top of coach 230 in this shot, it has the split windows for the old guard's position - that's what you want to look for. 20xx and 24xx do have them, but so do lower numbered 2xx series (under 240 I believe, the 250s that are cab cars definitely don't). There's no guarantees every train will have these, but it's a nice bonus when they do. It was still a fun video to watch, cool to see the progress at Weston and Mount Dennis stations!

With this train you would get off at barmala go and take a bus straight to Kitchener go. Really hope they offer all day service sooner than later.

Would you recommend any scenic day trips on the Go Train from Union station that we could do with a train loving 4 year old? He LOVES the Go train and has only seen it on KZbin. Can't wait to visit - but won't have a car. Thanks!

I would recommend the Richmond Hill line if looking at trees and nature along the route is something you would like. In autumn it is quite beautiful. The line is short, but it is also the line with the fewest trains per day, so you need to schedule things right if you want a convenient return.

Kind of an unsavoury landscape along that route. It's sad looking nowadays and even more sad that Brampton has been hijacked by criminals.

The line runs through a lot of industrial areas. Decades ago the old Township of Etobicoke took advantage of the construction of highways 400 and 401 to develop itself as an industrial/commercial site to the northwest of Toronto. Of course, economic changes in the 1970s and 1980s had a negative effect on industrial activity in the Toronto area. Parts of Etobicoke are now economically depressed and a bit shabby.
