Toronto to Mississauga GO Train Ride - Union Station to Clarkson

A ride on the GO train from Union Station in Toronto to Clarkson GO in suburban Mississauga. I start by exiting the TTC subway station platform and heading over to the GO platforms where I pay my fare and board the train.

I used to live in Clarkson & worked in downtown Toronto. I took the very first GO Train when the service started & continued to commute via GO until I moved out of Mississauga in 1975. From Union Stn., it was only a 10 min. walk to my office.

Toronto has the best public transit in NA. GO train just looks modern and so spacious.

Since i dont sleep when i travel, i always bring a book to read Or my sketchpad on hand. Also i have my meditation music on so IM relax and dont look at the strangers in front of me....IM the type of person who liked looking at sceneries, i have this game in my mind when i see some bldg s Or home i get entertained and calm.

I use to take this train to work 20 years ago. It hasn’t changed at all!!! So slow & still no passengers except during rush hour! Live in a major European city now & public transit is all I use. Don’t even own a car anymore.

Oh that’s not true It is so busy, I’m guessing it wasn’t busy for them cuz it was 10 in the morning and they were heading away from Toronto while most people are heading towards Toronto Also in about 10 years and 18 billion dollars later, the train is going to be a lot more faster

I used to use Long Branch GO regularly but until it becomes accessible, I can't anymore since I now use a walker. The only way to the tracks is by stairs. So if I want to go downtown, I use Dixie GO (trains only run into Union in the morning though).

You can try and find a Union Station map or bring up a map on your phone And there’s a service counter place so if u can find that then u can ask them for directions, or just ask most people! Most people would gladly help

The thinking aloud is annoying. Narration of videos needs to add to the viewing experience. Tell the viewer things the picture doesn't. Add detail. Add information that enhances the watching experience. That means doing homework & not wandering around Union Station like a lost sheep. Put yourself in the viewer's shoes & you should come up with a presentation that folks want to watch🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇦

Hi Johnny , Nice relaxing train ride. 🚆🚆🚆🚆🚆 I wish That the New York City MTA would make something like the Presto Card for the OMNY tap and go system. I will not use a phone , ATM or Credit Card to pay for a ride with all the craziness going on in the N.Y. Subway System.
