I made the same journey in car from GTA to Calgary with my friend in September 2021. It was helluva amazing experience. We started at 1AM from Brampton and drove straight for 24 hours with food and snacks breaks at Sudbury, Sault Sainte Marie, Thunder bay, Upsala etc. Reached Winning at 12 in the night and slept for few hours. Left 11 AM the morning and drove for 12 hours to reach our destination. Best wishes for new beginnings in Alberta 😇🙏

I did came in Alberta this passed December by driving alone and yeah thunderbay was the hardest point. Overall it was interesting journey and keep in mind to have 10L fuel can for backup, windshield fluid , air pump.

I came here twice from Mississauga. To calgary Before starting ur journey book Air bnbs they are pretty cheap and u will enjoy ur time. Dont travel at night because there is no lights on this trans canada highway especially no ph signal in areas. I took 5 stops Sault Se Marie Thunderbay Winnipeg Regina and Calgary.

I am in Calgary. Glad you made it safe. That was terrifying at parts I don't think I could do it. I would choose to fly and have my belongings shipped. I'd sell my car and buy a different one once I was here but that's just me.

Your vedios are very nice 👍. If it alone best things go by flight and book ticket one month before of departure date so get cheaper ticket . Like mine was just 200 round trip plus I booked rental car for four days which coast me 160 after tax unlimited km . Then fun all over Calgary visited Banff and lake and all other parts . Weather was warm plus 11 . Full enjoyed with friends .but if moving permanently then by road is also best. 👍
