Hey Brian- I got a problem with my heater It wont start I wont do anything No fan No spark Nothing All it does is the lite on the on/off switch comes on when you flip switch on Nothing else does anything I looked it over for defects and other than cracked hoses I didnt find anything obvious I looked on circuit board for a fuse but didnt see one Do they all have a fuse? Its not new but its never been used Its been stored for a few years since new Id appreciate any help
@Brian_the_repair_guy2 жыл бұрын
Not all of the heaters have a fuse. Check your wires close to make sure they haven't been damaged by rodents. Typically if nothing happens when the machine is turned on, the board is bad.

Check the power to the blower and also see if the fan spins freely. They get mucked up an need a little oil from time to time. Ive also seen the pump on the back break and lodge the broken hunks stopping the fan motor. Easily replaceable items

If you remove the screw that sets the air pressure theres a ball bearingg with a spring. Ive seen debris hold the port open an also seen the spring rust an fall apart

On the igniter, does it stay on all the time, or once it lights up the spark shuts off

Just for shits and giggles, I ordered the brass nozzle for a 125,000 btu unit and put it in my 80,000 btu unit and now mine heats like a larger model for the price if a nozxle! Crazy easy mod.
@Brian_the_repair_guy Жыл бұрын
I can't say I would recommend that, but I will not discourage it either.

Mine it shooting small flams out the nose. Same modle as this one. Gage it at 5.5. No matter where gage it set, it still dies it

Alot of times the pump line or fuel pick up cracks or rots. Pressure should depend on the size of the unit. 55000 btu is about 3.7 psi. Also the nozzle can get plugged up. Just remove the nozzle an pull the brass sprayer out and take the inner threaded portion out an clean the small venturi tip. Reassemble an should be good. Another common issue is the igniter is too far an needs to be tweaked a bit closer

My master heater is throwing an E1 code when I have the power on my fan does not spin
@Brian_the_repair_guy2 жыл бұрын
Take the cover off, physically spin the fan by hand. It should spin freely. If you feel a bind in the fan, then the fuel pump should be adjusted. Try this first, let me know.

@@aaronlingenfelter7797 this usually means the fuel pump on the rear is out of adjustment. It needs to be reset. If you are unsure, I can make a video this week in how to do this.
