Silly question, but would a 72kg person easily able to duck dive the 6’2 36 litre version ?

For sure you can!

How on earth do I choose between the torq mod fish 7’2, v+ 7’4 and mod fun 7’2? Been surfing for some weeks in Portugal with a 7’6 foamie 57L and can take every whitewash and starting to learn how to carve, taking some greenwaves each session. I am 137 pounds and 5’35 tall male who wants to buy my first hardboard 🥲

Hey Tonz, I’m an intermediate surfer based in Victoria Australia who has surfed for 40 years. With your weight and height and level go for a mod fun 6 8 or 7 2 if you can’t get the 6 8. I’ve owned the 7 6 mod fun and it’s a great board for all conditions. Surfed it in overhead at Bells Beach down to slop and performs well. Currently have the Torq 7 2 mid fish. Excellent board but I should have went the 6 10. Better for you to get the mod fun as it’s slightly slower then the fish and will help you learn to carve. Good Luck, Phil

Can the 6'10 be used with a twin plus trailer like the T1 + 1?

For sure it can! get the right template and you'll be golden. T1+1 would work, the mayhem honeycomb twin + trailer would also be a great option

Is the 7.2 mid fish good for a kid? She’s 5”3 weighs 122 pounds

The Torq Mod Fish is definitely a solid board to learn and develop on! Nice and stable but also forgiving. If she's only 5' 3 you could go shorter , so the board is more proportionate to her height and weight , something like the 6' 10 would be a little better :)

Opinion on transitionning from a 8ft long/fun board to a 6’6 fish mod? (I weight about 145lbs) I feel like my 8ft is kind of limiting my turning having 60L… so I would like a board that can introduce me to more carving but still give me the help I need for now!

I’d also add I’m 6ft, and ride mostly on the east coast of America / Canada + river waves! Any help would be greatly appreciated :)! Thanks

The Torq Mod Fish is a great board and will be a great board to come onto from a big chunky foamie, however 6' 6 might be too big of a step down from an 8' 0. A 6' 10 would probably be a better board to transition to , still giving the forgiveness / stability needed but will be short and responsive to allow you to start making turns and navigating the face of the wave better!
