Very impressive video about Birmingham. Really enjoy it! Always exploring!

Thanks for exploring the world and good video always. You are always nice to people. One element that I sense from you video is some kind of prank now. Like saying that you are 18, or you are a chief, that could be playful, but at the same time, if you do not disclose the truth to your interviewee, and after a while, they find out the truth, that's not funny, and those interviewees would feel offended. Hope that I am too sensitive on that, and have a nice trip always.

I agree. In particular, the flip in Paris where the lady learns Cantonese should be clarified right after the joke.
I have lived in Birmingham UK for about a year and I really hated it, it's nice to see a vlog and Chinatown has expanded a lot! However it's somewhere I could never consider moving to - everything feels unfriendly, cold, dangerous.

How long ago? I was there 20 years ago and I didn't see any asian shops or Asians
Looks like the chinatown has expanded alot. Lived there three years for my degree. Had not encounter anything complicated. Would go back there for a walk if time allows in the future

well, there are a lot of people that would ask "what do u think ur looking at?" and u might not even notice them at all until they speak up like that... if u even just talk back to them, they might even start to punch u for no reason at all... (mostly in the west if you know what I mean lol)

These types of people are either mentally ill or overly-sensitive/insecure.

If you are fluent in English, just talk back loudly in telling the guy you are simply intrigued by his outstanding masculinity, admiring at his fashion sense, and almost confuse him with Brat Pitt or Leonardo Dicaprio. 😄

And I also think these types of people are just overly-sensitive and insecure in general. (Not sure why youtube keeps deleting this comment, lol.)

入清華既難度相當於dse best 5攞34以上。不過入學難度不完全等於學校質素,否則印度理工就勁過mit喇

Birmingham is a sin city, the last time I went to Birmingham from Bristol on business, I didn't dare to stop for a minute and returned immediately afterwards.
Should come to San Francisco Ca if you want to see some crazy folks! hhaahaa GREAT VIDEO!

Birmingham actually quite depressing city if you ask englishmans. Always discriminated by their accents (brummie). Maybe this is one of the most working class City in UK beside Liverpool. Alot Irish folks too

I’m from the states. Depending where you work and if you are salaried paid you don’t get paid for overtime. But you may get bonuses at year end. Also, if you work for the the big four or like a Goldman Sachs they work you to death. You’re gonna expect to work about 60-70 hours per week.
Haha I think you just accidently exposed one of those fishy Chinese Higher Education agency. I remember back when I was at Uni, I was once approached by a sales woman from one of these agencies due to my Chinese appearance, but I just kindly rejected her because I'm the real deal, need no one to write my dissertation to pass my MSc.

To be honest, I am from Birmingham, now living in Hong Kong for a while. Birmingham people are mostly quite friendly (in the city centre area and certain parts of Birmingham) but in others like Soho Road. It can be not so friendly. I never had a problem there. I am hoping the HS2 project and the Smithfield project can add further light to city. I also noticed many Hong Kong citizens buying property near the city centre area. Which is always good.
Interesting to get this perspective of another community within Birmingham, I do agree it would be nicer if things did Improve more here, but It's not happening very fast, not for all people of different economic backgrounds anyway.

I remember 10 years ago at Zuma London, all the young and smart looking waiters who serve there were eastern Europeans. They also looked happy then. Wonder how they were doing now.
