@@Fran-to7ev I feel no because despite Ragnar warning everyone not to touch Athelstan, Floki, for one reason or another, thought himself above King Ragnar and his wishes, and still killed him, someone who meant alot to Ragnar. He let his faith in the gods overrule his loyalty to him and betray him. None, like Torstein, even bothered to take a blow at Athelstan, although also being there when Athelstan was captured. Yet they didn't betray Ragnar and seek death for Athelstan That doesn't make him NOT LOYAL to Ragnar, but none of his original clan ever attempted a jab of any kind at Ragnar
@xxshadow-_-gamerxx19322 ай бұрын
@kingivar702 yeah because floki didn't think it was right for ragnar to have a Christian turned Danish with them considering they traditions was to praise odin and one day go to valhalla from the day they a born that's that they are taught learning the ways of their gods and that's why he thought it was wrong ragnar was considering the Christian way floki was the closest to odin his vision of a perfect land travelling can't blame floki for disliking how ragnar was starting to change he was loyal to the all farther their warriors and raiders but yet floki still had a respect for ragnar he just didn't like the fact he was starting to change

Medically speaking, that actually was the best choice before modern medicine. There really was no option but that to stop from letting rotting flesh eat you away from the inside. The hot blade cauterizes the wound and seals it best and heals faster. Though homie didn't want to live the rest of his life with one arm so he went ahead and died the way he wanted to with a shield in one hand.

I think by the time the arm was removed it's rot was already spread to the body. Unfortunately there was no recovery for him.
