Torturing sounds in Koala

But I asked Marek whether I could use beta for the stream and he said that if somebody notices the new FX, it's ok, at least you'd know that there's more coming. Well, I didn't plan on opening it but still you don't know what it sounds like and you have something to be excited about 🙂

Where do you start? So far, i only do loops and try to sync them using 2 android devices with koala running on both. Just got the mixer on both. You are my inspiration. Thank you.

It's very different every time... It depends if I do the flip for the weekly challenge or just try to do something based on an idea or improvise the process completely. Because I am a vocalist, I use a lot of vocal one shots and what I really like is to "torture" the sounds, try to distort them in a experimental way and create new ones. And combine it all together. If I start with this, it gives you tons of ideas you can build your track on 🙂 Getting the iPad was the best decision ever because it allows me to use Koala together with other instruments, but since Koala has the mixer, I haven't been using other things that much 😄 And thanks for so many nice comments, it means a lot 🙏

Aww, are you sure you can't? Everyone knows something. I bet you can do many things that I can't do (well, you have a wide choice 😅) But singing is something that can be practiced and learned. I didn't have a singing teacher, I just tortured myself in front of the radio listening to singers and trying to do what they were doing 🙂 If you have some musical hearing, you can do it!

@@rooshiemusic you have a fantastic voice. I can’t find a key I can sing in sadly. So I mostly make instrumentals because of it. Really enjoying getting to grips with Koala though, and enjoy your videos 👏
