Not sure which team I'd be on tbh. Torvo is cool, but I love sauropods and we need more of them and more herbis in general. Have a feeling that apato might be another big invincible dino you can't kill with a legal group though....

Should defiantly buff the bites so ppl actually use them, but with the stupid shared cooldowns people are only going to use regular bite

Torvo is meant to be played in duos, one person uses the bite that applies piercing snd the other would use shatterpoint, definitely one that will have a learning curve.

I'm so happy someone else did torvo! The first mod did torvo so poorly. Only having two variants was bad enough but it's running animations made it look like it was taking teenie tiny steps.

Allosaurus, Torvosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus. 3 apex that are the main carni of late Jurassic period. I love this period.

Saurophaganax was larger than all three so it would push Yangchu down, but in this game then yea, Yang would be third :>

@@Rekkyphaganax1983Wouldn't push Yang down, Allo was smaller than Yang.But if we'd get a T.Gurneyi than yes, Yang would be out as well. And it's still a debate if S.Maximus or T.Gurneyi was heavier...

The Baby Torvo’s “Upper Stretch” emote sounds like it’s Purring like a Cat and I love it Edit: Primordial Tyrants always cook up when it comes to skins ngl; I don’t remember a single skin that doesn’t look like a gorgeous pieces of art

It's an ability meant to be used as group, one uses the debuff and the rest do the heavy bite

@brokenjohnassexum0929 So I’m guessing it decreases the armor of the target, or increases incoming damage.

@@hcollins9941 no, it's just a status, when activated, the heavy bite will deal instead of 40, 140, it doesn't have any effect besides that, that's why it's meant to be used on groups

It really doesn't i just 1v1d my friend who was pt torvo i was jfd torvo and jfd is much tankier and does more dmg but i will say the new ones animations and model are much better then jfds torvo

@@BeegRanhoTorvo should absolutely destroy Allo, if the game had some realism in it.They have the same stats rn, how is that balanced for you ? What makes JFD Torvo so op ? It also has its disadvantages, like beeing terribly slow, if players had more than 3 working IQ, they can kill it with any faster apex just by chasing it and not just standing in one place... I bet you're one of the players who calling Torvo op, because you're getting destroyed by it, yet you can't use it yourself at all😂

I’ve jus been getting into Torvo. Now with another mod it’ll be interesting to use a slightly different play style. It needs a claw attack for sure tho. Also model wise I think I still like the other mod slightly more.

In addition to the other ability showcases, I think it would be nice to do a speed and sprint stamina drain demonstration as well.

I can definitely add this to the list! I’m conscious about making the showcases too long so would you rather have a snippet of it? Or the pure stats collected?

@@VelocciYT Yeah, I understand concerns about length. Stats would be fine, I think, if you could also put up say the stats of a base game dino for comparison. Like say, the Achilo or something. Just for context.

Torvo's calls are way too animated for the sound they produce, it looks strange to me. The sound doesn't fit and movements.

i said in the video announcement: - scheduled wednesday videos would be cut out so i have more freedom, but... and this was the important part - Devblogs, mod showcases (anything non schedule) will be uploaded whenever they can be, removing wednesday video schedules allows me to be more free to be able to upload more and cover mods quickly without being burnt out. Otherwise today i would've: Worked on a main video, uploaded that, went to work, came back from work, worked on 2 mod showcases Mod showcases are relatively easy to make and i enjoy making them, i like being able to show everyone new mods, but once you throw in a large video on the same day it can make things tedious! So yes, technically im still uploading less, but when the game gets busy with updates, mod releases etc, the schedules now more flexible to be able to upload more without burning out as easy or feeling as much pressure

The model is too small, Torvo was around 11 meters and 4-5 tons. Almost Sucho or Acro size

Ah yes, the "totally not allo" allo. I feel like there's currently overabundance of the allo dino type in the game and modding scene which makes the modders struggle to make their creatures stand out playstyle wise

i usually like the call animations for PTs dinos but Torvo just throws its body around so much it looks abnormal same with the eating animation being very aggressive other than that Torvo is awsome. (yes ik im knitpicking)
