This is definitely a terrifying weapon to come against on the battlefield. I would not want to be the one. I saw the results the TOS-1A produced on heavily entrenched AZOV Nazis in Mariupol.. They look like fried chicken by the time this machine was all done with them.

It was interesting to see how one of these when loaded up can effectively blow itself to pieces when hit by a Ukrainian FPV drone as we saw near Opytne pop "HUGE Boom as TOS-1 is Hit By FPV Drone Near Bakhmut" into KZbin. Seeing a $6.5 million dollar Russian TOS-1A taken out by a $400 drone is certainly a joyous sight to see.

I guess you didn't check the video to see it 'actually' happening, regardless of you claiming "This can't really happen" It would appear that this still happens despite me "...not knowing the basics of thermobaric weapons." Maybe you can explain why the TOS-1 went up like a big firework display coughing big sparks soon after being hit up the back end of the rockets by the kamikaze drone. Have yourself a lovely day,

@@briannewton3535 I have seen that video but there is no visual of burning of actual tos 1. Just a glimpse of rapid and violent firing and detonation of high powered explosive in a forest belt. Not sure rpg with fpv can penetrate missile housing from side but rocket ignition can be possible with a small explosive if attacked from back and front side.

I guess you work with the TOS 1 so have that in-depth knowledge of it's survivability from an RPG? I could make guesses, but I don't know you do, so what do I know. It is you who is the TOS 1 expert yes?

@@briannewton3535 ROFL. Retreat is part of Gerasimovs doctrine to conserve troops, while killing the advancing Ukrainians with artillery and its airforce. If you've done military service you'd know that territory can be taken back but soldiers cannot be resurrected. That territory Ukraine gained last autuumn cost dearly. In troops and in other resources. Most of its high teir troops are gone. The army Ukraine now has is a hodgepodge of poorly trained units with different equipment. It cannot win and Western media is starting to admit it. If the Ukraine even exists as a country in a year is highly doubtful. The east will be Russian and the west will be Polish, Romanian etc.
