Don't give up. There is widespread dissent, on the left AND the right, on this issue. If their arguments were strong, and they were only fighting idk Republicans, you could expect TRAS to get what they want. They're fighting a two-front battle with weak rhetoric. There's a reason "What is a Woman?" and "I identify as an attack helicopter" have had a TON of staying power. There isn't a quick and easy response to those criticisms.
@baconsarny-geddon82982 ай бұрын
"Mens egos will always take priority over women's safety..." Right, that's why raape and woman-beating are the most universally socially-unacceptable crimes a man can be accused of. Why ALL the 100 most dangerous, high fatality occupations are at least 95% male, and virtually all are over 99% male. Why men make up over 70% of the homeless,, yet homeless women get more services, and more funding. Because women's safety NEVER gets gets prioritised ahead of men... Trans-identifying men/"""trans women""" are the ONLY men who consistently get prioritised above women (which is obviously ridiculous, and needs to stop). But so-called "trans women" only make up around 0.5% of men. The NORM, is the 99.5% of men who DON'T larp as women, and for them, basically EVERY social institution, from courts, to universities, to corporations to police, to the media, will almost always prioritise a woman ahead of them, ESPECIALLY if there's any hint of the woman's physical safety being on the line, somehow. Men are the significant majority of victims of both assault, and murder. Middle aged men,and male teens are the two demographics at highest risk of sewer side (both significantly higher rates than the super-duper urgent "trans sewer side epidemic"). I'm not trying to depict men as "victims", or "oppressed". Both sexes have their advantages and disadvantages. I don't believe that ANY demographic in the modern, western world is "oppressed"... But the idea that WOMENS physical safety is generally neglected, to favour men, is absurd. The "trans" insanity is so shocking and egregious BECAUSE it violates the near-universal norm, of prioritising women.. ...and the only reason the that nonsense happens, is BECAUSE those men/""trans women""" have scammed the system into considering them as """women""'"; if they were OPEN about being men, they'd go back to being essentially NEVER prioritised ahead of women, because that's the overwhelming norm. Not saying there aren't REASONS why women's safety is generally protected far more than men's... But it's reality-denial, on par with claiming some men ARE "women", to not acknowledge that society virtually ALWAYS prioritises women's safety, above any male concern (outside the bizarre, norm-defyinh "trans" insanity, that's less than 1% of the population)

I'm a lesbian and I almost transitioned because of this shite. I feel you that this is on women but I think it's more similar to a cult with a male or group of males who are brainwashing women into bullcrap. I almost transitioned because of how I experienced womanhood. I felt like I was absolutely lesser in everything and maybe I would be more accepted if I was seen as a male. I legitimately thought that it was the solution to a problem that didn't need fixing. I knew I was ok with being a lesbian but society made me feel less so I almost adapted, till I saw what it was doing to the women. The hormone therapy, the operations it's absolutely horrendous and I'm glad I watched vids of the operations of it on yt before deciding to identify as a trans. Best morbid decision I made in my life tbh. Those videos are VERY graphic. There is also the fact that this narrative plays on women's natural tendency to be empathetic. Thanks for your honesty, I could see how you felt that way, and I agree that society has through out history always put femmininty as lesser to masculinity and that, that could effect people negatively. @@kazapeach9487 As a transman, I am very convinced, the opposite is true. Testosterone is known for rage, when it is highly overdosed. What is less common knowledge is, that it is slightly euphorizing and relieving anxiety in moderate dosage. I used to be highly aggressive before starting testosterone, because I didn't do well at all with my hormone cycle. Gender dysphoria is very painful and pain often lashes out as aggression. Also estrogen makes women more succeptible to negative affect and more moody. The problem is that transition should be a last resort. Not the go-to when puberty sucks. I think a lot of the aggression also comes from indoctrinating people into victim mentality. I am very grateful, that my conservative parents set me back on track, when I was in that raging phase. It's tough. I want gender non-conforming people to be happy and safe. But I want women to be happy and safe too. And what rights advocates want, full female status, is untenable anywhere in the near future, and their arguments and rhetoric aren't strong enough to change minds. i.e. violent / sex offenders who're male should not be in women's prisons. Not ever. Even if everyone in the world thinks that's okay, I don't think that ever will be. When you really look at what's going on here, it falls apart. E.g. We have TRAs Veronica Ivy, Abigail Thorn, India Willoughby, among others, all saying "I'm 100% biologically female. That's a fact" And that feels like gaslighting. (I mean you can change some parts of your biology, but '100% biologically female? With prostates?). Veronica says sports are a human right, and even if she does have an advantage, you have to "prove" that advantage to deny her that right. That's disingenuous. No one is stripping her 'right' (which is debatable btw) to play sports, they're arguing about the category she can compete in. People like Buck Angel make sense when they're speaking about the issue ("I don't feel like a man, I don't know what that means. It's more I want to be seen as a man, but I know I'm not."). So honestly, I think it would behoove trans people to let common sense advocates like Buck to lead the charge.

The Race Communists cannot allow Race to be considered as subjective, simply because race-centric Marxism (Critical Race Theory) holds race as an indicator of the oppressed... If the white population were "allowed" to identify as black, then the new proletariat could vanish overnight. (If) sex/gender (IS) subjective, and therefore a "Choice" it would follow, that race would also be permitted to fall within the ontology of relativism. If, however, you utilise ontological realism to furnish your epistemology, then you would surly need to consider the fact that there are more biological variations between a male and female of the same population, than there are between two males from different populations.

Another example is if a woman were taken against her will, had her breasts cut off, had bottom surgery, and was force fed testosterone, she wouldn't stop being a woman. She would just be a woman with a now very complicated, and uncomfortable life. So when does someone become a man in all this? Is it when she accepts it? If it can happen inside the mind, isn't that a mental disorder? Why are we treating mental disorders with surgeries and affirmations to their delusions? It should be the last resort to ACCEPTING yourself.

You are actually scary delusional and you are going out of your way to be illogical and silly just because of your want to support your cousin. Obviously trans people have to say they feel like the opposite sex, or why would they want to change to the opposite sex. You are being absolutely ridiculous. Also, sorry to be harsh but just because your cousin is trans and has been mistreated for it - does not make her a woman. She can be a trans woman and be the best trans woman on the planet, but she isn't a woman and will never be a woman. And, just because she gets mistreated doesn't give her the right (or you) to support laws and regulations that hurt women, that's not how equal rights work.

I used to be really accepting of trans women... till I had one as a roommate. Just treated me weird as I was positive about her at first but was as messy as a man, leaving shit all over (socks, trash) and at times not flushing the toilet (lid was lifted up 50% of the time too, umm). Asked about it once and 'she' got all defensive. Again, I thought I was being good, making a community that he would be okay living in, but even with same type of interests, that individual behaved like a creep in my own living. Gave me a new perspective on these a part of these people. Didn't seem like he really even transitioned while at my place. Just a situation that made me tense and annoyed. Probably there's an actual transwoman that would be with my standard and wouldn't make me feel eventually uneasy (I wasn't when I first spoke to him), but not this man. This 'transwoman' just behaved like a creepy, insecure man in my home. No thanks.

Do you honestly think Blaire White uses the men's restroom? Do you think that Blaire White is a man in any way that MATTERS? Blaire White's stance is basically SHE should be able to use women's facilities, play on women's sports team, etc.. BUT she is the ONLY one who should be allowed to, because she is the only TRUE trans woman who's not a "big man in a dress". She basically said that in a video, she stated, "I don't think there would be much of a problem with ME playing women's sports as the other women could easily destroy me!" Blaire wants to be the ONLY trans woman who gets to live as a female. I'm trans and have known this since I was old enough to THINK, around 4 years old. I was saying "I'm a GIRL" when I was 4 years old... I'm 40 now and nothing has changed! What makes me mad about people like you is you basically tell someone like ME, who has struggled with this my whole life, to just stop listening to my doctor, and go against the whole medical consensus. Gender Identity EXISTS, we don't know WHY it exists, or what it is exactly but we KNOW it exists, when it's out of alignment with your body, you can FEEL it! I'm not even gonna finish this rubbish video, I've stopped at the point where you say, "I FEEL like a woman" is offensive" I'm guessing you're gonna say it's SEXIST, etc.... But when I was a kid I was just as boyish as I was girly... I went through a stage where I loved boyish boyish things like catching bugs, climbing trees, etc... BUT I still knew I SHOULD have been born FEMALE. I'd SOOO LOVE for you to call the trans Atlantic call-in show, on KZbin every Saturday afternoon hosted by 2 wonderful trans women and let them

Of course you won't finish, because you don't want to hear any one else's opinions and you sure as heck don't respect anyone's opinion that doesn't go along with your stance. Also, seeing as how you openly admit you didn't finish my video, I highly doubt you finish any of Blaire's which is shown by your completely false statements about what she says and thinks.

I think living in many places gives a person a clearer vision of one's beliefs whether others agree with them or not. I am a woman and he is correct. Being glam doesn't equate to being a woman. I am a woman and how can a biological man ever know what it's like to be a woman when they weren't born a woman? They can identify, but they can not know that. Makes sense to me. It's not narrow minded; it's fact.
@tosheatower3 жыл бұрын
It is because I have lived in so many places that I know when I see bullsh*t.
I'm a straight white male. Ive know transgender people when I lived in vegas. Ive never had a problem with transgender people until recently. Why are people getting in trouble for not "supporting" trans people when they never did anything to hurt or say anything bad about them. The only thing they did was refuse to wear a rainbow practice jersey and hockey stick in an NHL game or wear trans rights supporting clothing at work. Why am I supposed to respect someone's lifestyle when in their own words are demanding me to while saying they don't respect mine. If I call you sir or ma'am and hold a door open for you or any other number of things that I do to be respectful, don't start getting pissed off at me. Be lucky that I am trying to be respectful in the first place. I feel like being courteous and respectful is a bad thing especially when people are always trying to make it seem like someone calling them sir or ma'am is completely destroying their will to live. I'm tired of being afraid to interact with people anymore. Have PTSD (childhood and military), severe depression, and really bad anxiety. And yet I feel like I don't matter because I'm a straight white male. Since I am not transgender or non binary or anything else I feel like I'm alone because people who have mental health issues such as me aren't as profitable to bring up in the news. Yet transgender people who also suffer from mental health issues are catered to and put on a pedestal and told they are perfectly fine and are better than anyone else. I'm sorry for offending anyone by saying any of this, but I'm also not sorry if you know what I mean. Also, this trans movement is a slippery slope. Now it's easier for controlling men who get off on psychologically abusing women and making women feel so small and inferior to them. Now All they have to do is say I'm a woman and suddenly they are celebrated for not only psychologically abusing women but are are now able to do it on a worldwide stage for all to see. It's sorta sad how the lgb community is now linked to the tq+ community. Alot going on now has nothing to do with the LGB community. Yet they are now involved in everything trans because of the LGBTQ+ acronym. LGB community actually know that they are 2 different genders and know that they are women who like women, men who like men. Shouldn't trans people have their own group to be involved with. I think that it's actually taking the LGB community in a few steps back because the transgender movement basically hijacked the acronym and now everything involving them now involves LGB
