I lost two television stations, just glitches, but all the others were fine. But after watching this youtube I reset it and then it found them again so thank you Toshiba. Not as nearly as crappy and crashy as my Microsoft Surface Pro or Lenovo tablet. This was its first issue in about 8 years

"Unplug and plug back in" after a minute, ABSOLUTE GENIUS! Heh yeah it worked, after all the troubleshooting of all things attached (you don't want to but you have to isolate the problem)" and then watch an awesome KZbin about it and I did all of the above and it fixed my "Newish 32" Toshiba LCD TV" Thank you for helping, Kal :)

Hi, Hope I'm getting any help here. My TV does turn on, and I can go to the menu, and I can select the reset option. But then something strange happens: It just selects "No" on its own, shuts down the menu and shows a speakervolume of 0. Same thing happens when I try to show my System's information: It just vanishes after the quarter of a second. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question about my Toshiba model 43L42OU. Get start to say that I only have an antenna. Is about the sound. I have the primary audio in English and is good. When I am in a Spanish channel, there is no audio and I am going to the menu and change the Digital audio selection that is in French and Spanish. When I change it to Spanish is last until I change the channel. I have to do it every time I am going to Spanish channel (Telemundo), every time. I am tired of that. Any suggestion about how to turn that digital audio to spanish and not french???

Do have any advice for me please, on how to stop the tv constantly resetting the size/ratio?? I have got it set to 16:9 not auto, but every couple of minutes it is changing size and back again, it's getting to the point of being unwatchable. It doesn't do this when watching my fire stick, only on TV mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a Toshiba Regza 42 inch and about 10 years old but otherwise perfect.

Hi I'm from UK and have a Toshiba CT-90307. It's almost as though nobody else on the planet has this model, my problem is it's stuck on "local options" and won't come off, I've tried everything but nothing works. Hi Thanks for the explanation but it defferent in My TV. I have toshiba 50u778 and last week I loosed the wifi connection every led than ten seconds. When I go to the menu I noteced that the bottom of wlan goes on and of automatically every five seconds. I do reset to factory settings the proplem stay on. Pleas your help.

What happened to my TV, TV volume is stuck in down position. I took batteries out of the remote and tried manual buttons on the side of the television. Volume bar still staying on screen and volume goes to zero! I never complained about how after two weeks my TV put a red/green pixel line at 6 inches from the bottom across my television screen. It's not really in a noticeable position and sending back the TV to Toshiba seemed like a real hassle! But why isn't there a manual reset button or key combo to use to fix stuck key issues?

My 10 year old 46" Toshiba Regza just started giving me problems. Neither my remote nor the buttons on the TV work as they are supposed to. Yes, I did change the batteries, obviously. :) The problem is not the remote, it's inside the TV. On both the remote AND the buttons on the TV, only some functions work, like Power on, sleep timer, VOL Down, CHAN Down but not UP. On INPUT, all other input options ca be accessed, but "0 - TV/Antenna" is grayed out... Can't select it. On MENU, I can only go down, not across and I can't OK selections. Can't type "0" on the remote. The "unplug for 1 minute to reset" doesn't do anything on mine... I did a "unplug, then ON THE TV press and hold the POWER button for at least 1 minute, then release and press each button ON THE TV at least 3 times, then plug the power cord in again", which worked but it's a hassle having to do this every few days. The problem seems to the main board inside the TV. I love this TV, it's been great for 10 years. Hopefully it can be fixed. Just ordered a board, will post update once installed.

We have a LCD Colour TV Model 46HL900A. It shows "panel locked" regardless of what we do. It only turns on when input is activated. ON/OFF on TV works only for "OFF". Volume keys (on TV) don't work. Input key on TV doesn't work. I've un-powered/unplugged for 1 minute, 10 minutes, 1 day & not reset. Same message. Can you assist?

I have REGZA 32AV650E model. Remote control system in the TV is not working (though remote control unit is in working condition). By mistake while using button panel for changing the settings, panel lock option got enabled. Now I cannot turn on the tv since panel lock is enabled and remote is not working. How to perform system reset in such situation. I heard that there may be some combination of buttons that can be pressed in one go to do system reset so that panel lock can be removed. Please guide to resolve this issue.

click on menu which will bring up 3 or 4 places where you can access with your right arrow,the one you are looking for is automatic reset,press on itand that should do the job,with some you have to ok it before it is done.check that you are not using crap batteries in your remote control if you are you may not be able to perform the task.

TOSHIBA 37RV525RZ: When I turn on the TV only a portion of the picture shows horizontally across the top of the screen and cannot change channels. After 5 - 10 minutes the whole picture comes on and then it works OK. It it a board or what ?

I had a issue with my TV I needed to retune a channel after receiving a pop up informing me so I clicked retune auto retune all started well then it completed the retune and lost all my channels, I had to go it to settings primary region's and for some reason it had 4 region's set when it should of only been 1 that being UK after turning off the other 3 region's and auto retuning the TV all the channels are now fine I also put a pin lock on settings just incase

Horrible support. No telephone support and no real chat support. I know what I need to do but NOWHERE does this site or the user manual tell me how. According to Netflix (great support, BTW), I need to update the Netflix app on the TV and the TV says no update available! SO every time we watch Netflix, we have to reset the TV!! i have a 40s51u toshiba led tv. I have no power lights on this set,no power led no toshiba logo or standby light, I checked the power supply and had 2 diodes that were bad and ordered a new power supply, didnt fix it, so i ordered a backlight inverter board due to no BL ON voltage present. the transformer on backlight board has no voltage present although all other voltages are good, i am awaiting arrival of the board from shopjimmy sent today.
