@@baxter6504 I like the Orioles, but let's not revise history and give Mike Elias more credit than he's due. He DID NOT turn around the Astros. That was GM Jeff Luhnow, with some help from special consultant Nolan Ryan. Elias was in the scouting department of Houston and by the time he was made Assistant GM in 2016, Houston had already turned the corner and posted a winning record. They went on the win the WS the next year. The Orioles hired Elias because they wanted someone from the Astros organization and Elias was one who was available and "part of their culture".

jay's fan living in massachusetts, grandpa was french canadian from vermont, have a good time in that wonderful fun city, remember 1985 - 1994. they were a force to be reckoned with. seen them at fenway many times when they would beat the heck out of the red sox , O's and yanks, this was before tampa bay was around

Lifelong O’s fan. It’s GREAT to finally see the O’s do this well and be this feared by other teams. Especially in division. The Jays never took advantage of their opportunities with the roster they had. It sucks bc that could very well happen for my O’s. But I feel your pain as an O’s fan. Ya I agree with you man, this Jays teams feels like the 2018 Orioles. They were actually trying to win, signed some FAs, and then just completely sucked the entire time. As an Orioles fan it seems like the Jays have the talent, but the culture isn't really there. The Orioles always look like they're having a lot of fun and enjoy being around each other and I haven't really seen that with the Jays this series. A good clubhouse is so underrated

I actually was legit clapping for Norby when he hit that HR. Only thing I felt any real level of emotion for watching this game as a Jays fan - seeing someone's first big league hit be a home run was a feel good moment. Enjoy this O's fans... your team looks great this year.

As an Orioles fan, I have no idea what the Blue Jays are doing. Dan Vogelbach cleanup? A bullpen game after they got carved yesterday (Could've called up a AAA prospect at least short term). What ever happened to Kirk, I know Jansen passed him on the depth chart, but I'm surprised he isn't getting as much playing time the last 2 seasons. Blue Jays are probably 4th right now in the AL East maybe 5th if Boston shows up. Bad enough when Mountcastle hits a HR off ya, it's another thing to give Hays his first HR of the season and Norby's first career HR

It wouldn't make a difference if the 98 Jays Roger Clemens was pitching. This team flat out sucks. Vogelbach has been one of the more productive hitters the past 2 weeks.. pretty sad... I know. Our farm system sucks. We got a cpl bad contracts on the books. And we got the looming FA's coming up in Bo and Vladdy. One has forgotten how to hit. The other has lost his power. Jays will be basement dwellers for the next 5 years.

Dude been there for so long.. I'm so sorry you got to deal with this crap. I'm old and have been an Os fan dating back to Palmer, Brooks Cal etc. I've gotten used to being good and then sucking for 20+ years. Two years were pretty good, but the rest sucked. Our rebuilding was painstaking but was necessary. They rebuilt everything and thats what the Bluejays have to do. Tear it down, draft well, work on the international leagues and the minors and stock pile talent. It sure as hell ain't easy. Hanging there bro.

It’s not just what the Os are going to do. Look at your upcoming schedule. You are going to get your wish. They could easily be 10 games under 500 in 2 weeks. But don’t get too down. They need to trade away some of their good players and build for the next few years.
