Big O's fan who spent my summers in the bleachers at Memorial Stadium. Trust me we have trudged through so many shit sandwich seasons and yes its nice to have the entire organization that we do now. What's funny is that it is still new. During rain delays they show re-run games from 3-4 years ago and you would laugh at the names in the lineup. We did have Hays and Mullins and Mountcastle back then but they were still just starting to become everyday players. The difference with the group as a whole today is that we have future Superstar players who don't think of themselves as superstars. They are out there everyday trying to prove to the league that they are for real and belong and most of them came up together through the minors and have played together at different levels for multiple years. Rutschman and Henderson were drafted in the same draft in the same round. Its nuts. Yes, trust me, we are enjoying it.

Life is about learning lessons. There’s a really big lesson for this Blue Jays organization to take from facing this Orioles team the last few years. They have guts. They accepted being the worst team early, buckled down on their weaknesses and made it their mission to build a strong core and team. They are the team Ross Atkins thinks he has. Instead, Ross has spent almost a decade penny pinching where we should extend without a second thought, and overspending on utility that we didn’t need. They were short on power, and he spent all his money on more defense. Then he burnt more money on the oldest and slowest players in the league. They continue to be forced to play them while our bright young prospects peak and stay peaked where it doesn’t matter, the minors. The faster the lesson is learned from the great and proven team, the Orioles, the faster the team can start a retool or rebuild. Right now, nobody’s bothering to learn. Everything’s fine, just a minor blip. Ross Atkins has been given nearly a decade to do something meaningful here, and he has continued to tool teams to play barely in the AL Central. 0 playoff wins. Insanely high payrolls for subpar results, no foresight. A demolished, bottom ranking farm system. He needs to go, this team needs to accept the hard lesson, and a smarter GM needs to shop our assets for the best return. Then this team can be competitive again in 3 years or so. If Atkins pawns off our best assets after kicking and screaming like he’s doing now, the league will screw him with the minimal return and we’ll be a bottom feeder for the next decade. It’s time to face reality and learn the lesson.

I went to tonight’s game for the city connect bobblehead. That’s all I was looking forward to… I was expecting a loss. Haha funny, Santander came up to the plate in the 2nd inning I told myself “please don’t burn us this early” yep he took us yard immediately after that thought. Game was over right there😭😭

O's fans are blessed with arguably the best GM in baseball and a new ownership group worth over $100 billion. They're not only drafting and developing well, they now have the money to pay all their young guys and then some. They also just got over $600 million from the state of Maryland for stadium renovations, so one of the better ballparks is about to get better.

O's fan here, just saying, it was just a couple of seasons ago we literally could not get an out against your offense at Camden Yards, crazy how many good players you have right now on offense and starting pitchers that just aren't performing right now. It's as if everyone is going through a funk at the same time, which kind of sucks because I have actually loved watching the Blue Jays play for the last few seasons.

Orioles spent alot of time in purgatory rebuilding and losing 100 games a season but the payoff has arrived. Now they need to get playoff experience which could be another stepping stone for them like the Leafs.

Not anymore, they have 39,150 according to Wikipedia. The renovations took out lots of seats, even last season didn't have 49,000. Seating was reduced over the last two seasons because of renovations.
