@@fella11814 Jaskier means buttercup, which is a type of Dandelion. Jaskier was his name in the original Polish books of the Witcher. So they didn't rename him to Jaskier, they renamed him to Dandelion technically.

@@LusioEcarts Me too. I read that they thought Buttercup was too feminine so they renamed him Dandelion, and I was just surprised because both names are "feminine" sounding. Lol. They should have left it as Jaskier. It is a name, so It should not have been translated.

In German he's called 'Rittersporn', which roughly translates to 'a knight's spurs' . A beautiful blue flower but I'm happy to go with Jaskier. Really happy with the whole thing really, it surpassed all expectations.

Shruti N thought it was 50/50. Some stuff was great. Other stuff was awful. Very unconsistent seasons in terms of quality. Alot of cringy moments but alot of great moments aswell. Maybe season two Will be better. More focus on Geralt would be good aswell

Really enjoying the series so far. Love Geralt and Jaskier/Dandelions performances as well as Yennifer. My only gripe is that Tris does not look at all like Tris from the book or game though both detailed appearances are the same shes not a straight haired ginger what so ever in the series and that was a key aspect of her figure.
