Congratulations on getting the new equipment! I love the angle and the fact that we get to see more of the background. Your vlogs are my favourite and I just love listening to you talk, it's so calming x Thank you for sharing your journey on transitioning, I am trying to do that too so it is very helpful! I went to NYC so many years ago and would love to see more of the recent City. Please keep doing what you love and enjoy x 📕📚📖

Of course I made it this far!📚☺️ I really like that brain storm board! I was zooming in to see how you organized your thoughts. I will be utilizing that idea for sure! What you did for your parents was SOOOOO SWEET and coming from an older mother with grown children…you’ve blessed them so big. Many will the moments they remember that kind gesture in their quiet times and be so proud and thankful for the daughter you’ve chosen to be. Yes, a human’s “raising” has a lot to do with how they live as an adult BUT it truly all boils down to choices. You’re making great ones!!!! Lastly, Congrats on your confident vlogging step into this new next chapter of your work life!🎉

Your vlogs are my favorite! I love seeing your life + process together. The perfect mix of inspo for both personal and business. I am so borrowing your post it idea, that was a great tip for planning + way to repurpose that foam board!! 📕

Thank you so much for watching Tracy! I love this comment because I definitely feel like the vlogs are a great blend of the gray area that Katie Steckley suggested (referenced in my last video) where I can mix and mesh the professional and personal content! Haha my poor foam board is on it's last legs but I'll probably keep it until it disintegrates 😂

Yes!! This has been on my mind so much since the season ended. It will just require me to rewatch the series (lucky me lol 😉) and take notes! Excited for that one to come to life

📙I like doing the emoji drop at the end of a video too. Helps to see who makes it all the way to the end. Enjoyed spending the days with you. And I loved your post it note system. Sort of like Trello, but hands on. I'm terrible with any sort of digital planning. I have to be able to touch it and manipulate it.

Yay, thank you for sticking through the whole video! I'm so glad you like that little addition to the videos. 😇 And omg yes, honestly usually I'd create something like this as a board within Notion but sometimes that initial brainstorming process really hits different when you physically write things out since you remember it better and can arrange it yourself.

Another awesome Day in the life of Austen vlog and the new camera looks amazing. I have bought a vlogging kit consisting of a portable LED light, microphone 🎤 phone & camera tripod so the lighting and audio in my videos will be better. Love 🥰 the vlog and love ❤ Austen. 📚

I love your poster board on video ideas. Might have to give a try ◡̈ I just use a long reminder list when video ideas come on my phone but I love this! Also going to check out that book. I've read one Lucey Foley before and it was The Guest List.

Love the content! 😊📗 But curious where is your rug from?
@AustenTosoneАй бұрын
aw thank you! It's from Rugs USA! I got it a few years ago but they definitely have the best selection and prices for rugs out of anywhere else I've seen! 💕

I'd love to hear more of your favorite settings with this camera, as I recently purchased it. I feel like I'm struggling a bit. I've filmed on my phone for the past 3.5 years. I was filming for like 20 min in my bathroom, and it overheated and turned off. I was surprised because it wasn't warm or humid in there. I had been filming on 4k and 30fps.
@AustenTosoneАй бұрын
Hi Jody, thank you for watching! I just filmed a video that should be out tomorrow that was vlog style and shot on 4k with 30fps too. I was filming on and off, probably for no more than 5 minutes at a time so I didn't experience any overheating with it from that. I know the guy at the Sony counter at B&H Photo here in the city was telling me that making sure the flip screen was open helps to prevent overheating (versus having it tucked in by the camera). He also advised me to get the white camera since black can trap heat more. I watched a Think Media video review of this camera and the creator said he was able to film for a little more than an hour before he got the overheating warning. This is also all for the Mark II model that just came out in August I believe, so I'm not sure about the older version of the camera. Hope this helps in some way!

Thank you for the update. I have to Mark ll and I had the flip screen out. It only happened once, so maybe it was a fluke.
