There's actually one more version of Totaka's Song hidden in New Leaf, but it's much more obscure and hard to trigger. Basically, you have to wait a long time on the ride to Tortimer Island without landing due to internet connection troubles, and Kapp'n will once again whistle the tune. Obviously this means you have to join Club Tortimer first.

The song actually plays a third time in New Leaf. When going to Tortimer Island Kappn will whistle the song if your internet connection is really slow and it takes a while to load. Kind of a bittersweet moment when it happened to me really.

One of the themes you can get for your 3ds is an animal crossing new leaf theme, which features K.K. Slider whistling Totaka's tune and strumming his guitar (this audio plays whenever you're on the home screen).

One of my favorite Easter eggs is on Jak3 in haven city. If you go to the top of a certain building and put the camera at a very specific angle, you will see an EXTREMELY hidden photo of the naughty dog cast

My favorite video game Easter Egg is the man that throws a bomb from the courtyard window in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was the first Easter Egg I had ever discovered as a child and it created my fascination and appreciation of all gaming Easter Eggs.

There's also a 3. way to find Tokata's Song in Animal Crossing New Leaf: While being on the loading screen connecting to the internet after speaking to Kapp'n for 2 minutes and 25 seconds. After the original song has looped you will be able Totaka's Song as if it is part of the original song itself. You must have a slow internet connection in order to be on the page for a long amount of time :d

K.K. mostly plays it because it's an actual obtainable song in the game renamed here K.K.'s Song. You can however also hear it while going to the Wi-Fi Tortimer Island if you have an extremely slow connection, in which case Kapp'n will whistle it after a certain amount of time.

The first I ever heard of totoka's song was when I was playing luigi's mansion When I came back from using the bathroom I heard it. The same happened in pikmin 2 when I became curious of the song because I recognized it. Feals weird to realize you found something by yourself with no help from the famous internet. Still cool to learn the history of the song though!

In animal crossing new leaf kapp'n will whistle totaka's song on the boat to the island if you have really slow Internet or have a connection problem. I found it myself when my Internet was messing up and it took a million years to get the island and I was very proud of myself for discovering it lol.

My favorite gaming Easter Egg is from Super Smash Bros. Melee. When playing on Corneria as Fox or Falco, taunt left and right over and over or a bit. If done right, they'll start doing a sort of charging animation and then call for the rest of the star fox crew. Then you can hear Slippy, Peppy, and Fox/Falco(opposite of whichever character you performed the trick with) say a few lines. This(I believe) returned in Brawl, but it originated in Melee and having found it myself, it was just really cool.

There's Another totaka's song hidden in ACNL, Go on the boat where kapp'n is and choose "other travelers" after that you can choose NA or INT any will do. if you have slow internet connecting on kapp'n sings his song on the boat, wait 2 Mins 30 sec and kapp'n will whistle the tune!

Chip not sure if you know of this easter egg since a patch has made the glitch impossible to see the easter egg anymore, but back I think around 2008 or 09 on playstation home there was a table outside of the map that was only visible through a glitch making a couch go out side the house and moving it around and following a dock path you see a table that reads "You shouldn't be able to read this" but if you find a clip on the internet it make a for great small video :) Reason I like the easter on how good they hid the easter egg. Still to this day don't know why they patched the only way to see it. :(

Legend if Zelda: A Link Between Worlds- In Lorule, in place of Zora Queen's hideout in Hyrule, there is a cyclops who pays you to keep that cave a "secret to everybody", referencing something from the original Legend of Zelda game.

for those you can't find the golden egg: First, in the beginning find the pacman on the shelf while he is talking. Wait until the screen changes to THE EASTER EGG HUNTER then when it returns to him talking look back at the pacman on the shelf and notice something has changed :3

My favorite easter egg? Hard to say... First one I ever saw was the Soccer ball from Halo, but I don't consider it my favorite. I've always found Totaka's song to be an interesting egg, but not one I've often found myself... I'd have to say that if I could just post one... I'd guess you could say my favorite easter egg is the Top Secret Room and the Secret World, both from Super Mario World. Mainly cause I found the Secret world on my own when I was younger and thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I later found the Top Secret Area by myself as well. In close second... I'm not sure if this really counts as an easter egg, but I also thought the 3rd warp whistle in Super Mario Bros 3 was pretty cool. Mainly cause you had to break the rock to find it and you could battle the secret Fire Koopa. And there was also the water formation of the Roman Numeral 3 that was pretty cool... Now I'm going off on a nostalgia tangent... I just love easter eggs....
