Great tips, if you're not having fun, what's the point? I have a very restrictive budget and have almost no money to spend on entertainment. I noticed that if I buy the golden rewards in trimphal challenge ($20), I don't need to spend $ on the sales because I get mostly what I need from the rewards. Keep in mind I've been playing for about 3 or 4 weeks so that may change later.

Thanks, yeah this game does reward players with extras that are wiling to pay for it, and rightly so, we must support our game developers and creators ya know. The golden pass is 100% value for money as it gives incentive and missions to complete which makes it more fun and rewarding, literally. Yes this game is very addictive but we all have real lives to live. I feel sorry for the control freak players, like you mentioned, they must have very shallow lives outside the game. Another disappointment trap I'm just hitting is ranking up divisions in the tournaments. When I started, it was easy-ish, especially spending a bit of gold on revives to max out a reward track for Doomsday. Now i lost my whole army without the silver to replace it more than maybe twice and to revive the whole thing would cost 40K gold... for a tiny fraction of the points I needed for the rewards. Needless to say, I won't be getting the triumph scrolls and it feels like I "failed" this tournament. But realize there's a tournament every day, and right now I'm building up logistics and economy to make my army more sustainable for future tournaments. Hard pill to swallow at the moment, but related to the momentum trap you mentioned.

Yes, with every level there's a devil. I hit this same obstacle for about 1 month too, the levels to reach where so high, and it's so tempting to buy a pack to fast pass it or the cost of resources wrongly. It was then I started crontrolling my mind and psychology and began playing at a pace that I understood, developing at the rate im meant too at this level. Its funny because at the level I'm at now, I know its gonna take some graft to get to G5 but that's the point, enjoy the game, play for the fun, growth will come, avoiding the easy route is the mastery of self 🙏🏽💯

You spend little money when you're in a good clan. I only buy mercs when they have the sales for $5 USD. I rely on merc exchange for mercs. That's the frustrating part. Those purple huts are becoming harder and harder to find.

Yes! I love the feeling of landing a merc exchange, so much more satisfying than paying for them. Plus I feel better knowing I'm leveling up Tengle and his gear for this reason. This is how I enjoy the game. Mercs are awesome though, and having a lot of them sure helps defeating monster squads lol 🙏🏽💯

@@a.j.loomis4985 I currently rely on my clan for resources, bit of a gamble but risk vs reward. To be honest even if you max you city resources because the way the game currently is set up, your growth requires more than the city can produce so it's not worth it anyway. Honestly best build for. Me so far is definitely 23 farms. 🙏🏽💯
