when attacking, what troops should you send. you mentioned mercs, monsters and low level archers. Is that all or should i send other guardsmen? it cost a lot to revive troops with gold, but the more rewards you get.

Hello @tonycarroll5521. Thanks for asking more questions and engaging the community. I'm not a super expert at this, but there are a couple things I know. Only use catapults when walls are involved ie citadels. When I have gold saved up I do use my monsters but they are VERY expensive to revive. When I use my low level troops, I usually just kill them off and do not revive them. Its cheaper to train them back up than spend potion/gold to revive. Have you watched my video on Level Stacking troops against monster squads? I'll reply with a link. This is a strategy to protect your mercs so they have a better chance at striking multiple times before dying. I am working on a second video with this strategy against the Arachne Swarm since you can take all 3 captains and reinforcements to this battle.

In your Captains and Heroes video the comments are turned off. So i'm asking here. when you were explaining about attacking monsters with the correct captain. you said to attack monsters that are susceptible/weaker against ranged units. where can i find out which monsters are weakest against each type of troops? Second question: How do you open up other heroes? To unlock them it costs 1M in gold. I can't afford that. and the only choices i got were the basic choices of Garvel and Julia.

Honestly I found out from the larger players in my clan. Typically before certain events one of the superiors will send some helpful tips. Players in the 100 million might. I'm just taking their word for it. You can find message boards like Reddit where someone has done a write up on it. This one is not reddit but might be helpful to you totalbattleforum.boards.net/thread/3/battle-plan-monsters Yes the cost is 1M. Garvel and Julia are the only options early on. I cant remember how I unlocked Faron. I recall getting a reward at some point in the game where I was able to unlock 1 Hero for free. I do not remember what the reward was or why I received it. I was probably not even at 100k might when I received the reward. Looking back I probably would NOT have chosen Faron as he does nothing for me unless I finish in the top 100 in CoT. In which case I get more votes. But I didn't know what I was doing and I thought it was "cool" to have the Grey Eminence title that Faron comes with. But it literally does nothing. I'll ask some players in my clan how to unlock the other Heroes.

Hi @bltito….have you been purchasing some of the Total Battle packages in the store? I have been told by other players that sort of as a way to “even out”, the game provides you fewer silver/gold rewards if you are spending real money. Let me know. If this isn’t the case, I’ll ask around and see what else may be the cause.

Easiest way to gain CP is to set up CP runs with your clan. This means working with a friendly clan on orchestrating attacks. Then you pay them back in silver. Next way is to participate in Shadow Invasion. I have a video on it.

Each gem has its own bonus attached to it. The higher level you craft, the higher the bonus. Click on each gem to see what the bonus type is (ie army strength, guardsman health, march speed, etc) and what percentage increase you receive from having it equipped
