If Owen WERE to replace Sam, then the cast would be uneven with 8 from Gen 1 and 6 from Gen 2. It IS a good idea, but it wouldn't truly work BTS-wise. I get where you come from though.

OR make it 16 characters, with the two extra characters from ROTI being Anne Maria and Brick. Then we get boot fodder and merge material respectively.

I see it as more like 6 from Island, 6 from Revenge, and 2 from World Tour. Personally, it never felt right to me that we only had 5 contestants that debuted in Island compete in canon All Stars.

Okay, I know she wasn't the focus of this part, but I just wanna say that I love how you handle Gwen. You actually try to consider all of her flaws when writing her instead of just brushing them under the rug or pretending they don't exist like so many other writers do. I'm so excited for how you handle the love triangle in the later parts! Sam being replaced with Owen just makes sense. He was originally supposed to be in the season anyway and you can tell with what they tried to do with Sam. Cameron was one of the biggest disappointments of All Stars to me tbh. I didn't even go into the season with high expectations for him after he won the previous season and yet they managed to disappoint me anyway. Like yeah, he wasn't horribly derailed or anything, but the plots they put him in were so unbelievably bad. It's especially wild too when his two of his three main interactions (Mike and Zoey) from the previous season were main characters this season. It would've been so easy to just have him be more involved with Zoke then whatever they did with Sierra. And then they ended things by putting him back in his bubble. Ew. Your version is of course waaay better by default. I really enjoy his plot with Gwen here! I love how she keeps bouncing from one short-lived relationship to the next with someone the complete opposite of her previous one. I also love how Cameron actually caught on to Mal here instead of being uncharacteristically oblivious like in canon and his friendship with Sierra that you detailed in the previous video sounds cute. Oh, and thank you for not putting him on the Vultures. Doing that in canon completely ruined the gimmick of the season as now there was a definite hero on the villains team which is...a choice. Zoey, like Cameron, is a really easy fix since canon failed her so much. I'm glad that you kept her being (mostly) oblivious. Her being a bit too overly trusting is one of her few flaws that they kept in canon All Stars so I don't mind it *too* much (although she probably should have caught on by the final 5/6 tbh--Alejandro basically spelt it out for her and she'd had enough hints by that point with Mike often acting out of character). Having her be more actively worried for and slightly paranoid about Mike/Mal here makes way more sense than her just brushing everything off. Also, her getting eliminated in the final 4 makes her wild challenge win streak feel a bit less annoying since she didn't go on to win afterward. I also love the Zoey/Duncan dynamic! Their whole plot sounds so cute and I love how you managed to so seamlessly integrate Zoey into the love triangle plot by giving her different dynamics with all three of the participants.

This is definitely a major step up from last part imo. Mainly because last part I was kind of writing off the seat of my pants, throwing out ideas. Now I have a full game plan. I’m Gwen’s biggest critic (maybe biggest fan too considering I know so much about her hidden flaws and motives?) so I’m always willing to write her true to her character. And yes I agree, Zoey’s dumbness is played up a bit too much in the merge, which is why I had her find out much earlier. Thanks for the detailed comment!

I'm loving this little series, cant wait for the next part. I feel as though they really missed a chance to continue the story Lightning had with losing his fathers rings. To show the effect it had on him. If he is to be an early boot, it should be because of his hubris, not cause he's stupid. I heard a great idea in a video that for the pre merge Heather and Joe should be more of rivals and would want to mess with each other. Joe would do that by working with Alejandro meanwhile Heather would be stuck with Lightning.

I actually think I have a better idea for what Sam could do in an All Stars season, though it would require the season to be 26 episodes and have Beth in the season as one of the extras. I think it would’ve been a very good plot line to have Beth somewhat mentor Sam, since they’re somewhat similar and she would give him advice on how to make it far by going under the radar, since that’s what she did in Action. Then when Merge comes, you could have Sam win one of the challenges, similar to Damien in the Reboot, as an underdog moment for him. I think it would be a much better inclusion for him, since I think he was mad wasted. I would have him get 6th place in this version, being eliminated by Mal or even Jo (since I think Jo also has potential, but that’s for another day).

I LOVE this! I struggle so hard to think about what Beth could do in an All-Stars season, and same with Sam, so this is literally perfect. Now you just gotta give him some side plots and an enemy or two.

@@voiceunderthecovers An idea I had for Sam is have Beth be one of the first people to discover Mal, later causing her elimination, I think it would be cool to have Sam and Mal have a small rivalry. Also (and this would require the cast to be bigger and more people added), but you could do some fun interactions with Leshawna after Beth is eliminated.

When Zoey was told by Duncan , Cameron and AL that Mike was off and acting evil she should have been more suspicious of Mike's behavior as Mal had bad acting , as why would "MIke" beat Izzy to a pulp more than needed for the challenge or laugh at starvin interns ? Mal also only saved Zoey so as he called it wouldnt look suspicious its not uncommon for villains to save heroes life when they still needed them alive as Jafar in the sequela saved Aladdin from dieing from a water falls as he wanted him to suffer more and not die while beign knocked out

Right but like I said, Zoey isn't a totally logical person. It's one of her major flaws that she's too nice and let's people step all over her. She got over this in Revenge of the Island against people who were directly mean to HER but not to her loved ones, she never had to experience that. She wouldn't know what to do or think.

Another thing I'd do with Owen is him have an interaction with Alejandro about why he never told him he never like being called Al and dislikes him for something he never knew was upsetting him. Going off Alejandro have Owen takes Sams place in the episode 4 challenge beating him like Sam did, however since Owen would never save his food, could have Mal slip the extra food into his pockets. Owen finds the pocket pancakes during the elimination, Chris and the other notice this, then Chris flips the results causing Owens elimination in Sams spot.

In the td all stars rewrite they included Owen who also has a history with Mal who gave him a very painful pink belly, Owen also devops a friendship with Scott the only antagonist who doesnt have a problem with him and vice versa unlike Heather ( Who would say nothing ever) Courtney ( I don't want to mess with them cause there my friends and Courtney ok i guess ) and Alejandro ( Al you cant use candy canes for evil) serious just look at the rewriting versions of Sundae and Booty ful. Owen also become a trio with Duncan and Noah giving an Ed Edd n Eddy vibe .

@@voiceunderthecovers you should it has a perfect balance of differences while staying close to the source. On example is that Gwen still uses the phrase" big ego in a teeny tiny brain" but says it to Chris not Duncan .

what I meant from me swapping Heather and Courtney and maybe Gwen and Sierra was swapping teams, so Heather and Gwen on the Hero's and Courtney and Sierra on the Villains, also, Lindsay and Zoey swapping to the Villains would also make a bit of sense. also two more things.. 1, I'd have Gwen and Duncan have more positive interactions, like with Duncan Giving Gwen tips on how to make Courtney Happy. 2, if I were making the cast, I'd make it 20-22, with the roti cast being the final 11, with Sam only being in if the cast was 22, if it's 20, than his spot is taken by Dawn, unsure about gen 1 tho. and I agree with your thoughts on Zoey in all stars. if you want to mention me, anominity please

I see Cameron as a younger brother to Gwen much like how Cody was called in season 1 " Cody hes like a little brother a very anoying little brother " As not all good interactions between male and female contestants have to be romantic

Sam/Owen: I really like Sam in AS. He's genuinely hilarious and doesn't have the fart humor that drags Owen back. I'd keep Sam pretty much the same besides maybe changing a few jokes and his elimination reason could be different.(Also, hearing you tear into Sam's terrible physical game was comedy gold) As for Owen, I agree with what you said. He does deserve to be here, but I don't really need him to be. I'd likely have him be the 3rd or 2nd boot. Also, Owen's fart humor would be extremely toned down given how sanitary All Stars actually is to every other season. Cameron: I'm glad to hear someone say Cameron was perfectly fine in All Stars. What you gave for him fits really well, I can't think of anything I disagree with. Zoey: 9:43-10:41 you're a fucking legend for this. I won't go on about that specifically since you perfectly took the words out of my mouth. I also love the stuff you did with Zoke as a couple. I despise Doey as a ship, so seeing being somewhat teased makes me die, but I see why it's integral to the plot. Zoey quitting is sad, but I see why she'd do it in that situation. I think her studying mental health is an awesome idea, and obviously seeing a scene of Zoey asking out Mike would make me all giddy. I too, like the dynamic of Zoey and Gwen's friendship, so seeing more is a treat. The idea of Zoey going "depressed" over the course of the season is perfect. Like I said in the last video's comment, it might be a bit much for TD, but as overwhelming as what you offered for Mal. Tier list elimination order: Given the cast you have, and the fact that Zoey quitting is pretty important to the plot you're making. This is a perfect elimination order. I don't really like the uneven casts, but it's alright. All Stars praise: Hearing any defence of All Stars is like fresh cold water in an arid as fuck desert. It's refreshing as fuck to see someone not regurgitate what 99% of the fandom says.

I have more good stuff to say about All-Stars in the future too! A whole video dedicated to giving it its flowers. Obviously it’s still my least favorite season, but I’ve warmed up to it over the years. Honestly, World Tour has worse lows at times than this season, and at the very least I’ve been able to come up for reasons why Duncan, Gwen and Courtney are as horrible as they are. I like most of Gen 2 this season though (minus Scott, he’s the big section of the next part) That rant was so cathartic for me haha, glad to see someone else resonate.

To make it short, World Tour ruins at least half the contestants that are in it, doesn't use the potential of majority of the other half, and the rest is Aleheather and people loving that Cody got 3rd. All-Stars didn't ruin anyone really. It just failed to repair damages World Tour caused. ROTI cast was fine (even Zoey) and the Gen 1 cast wasn't derailed. It failed to get fixed. That's not as bad as getting ruined in the first place.

All Stars really ruined everyone to the point they never came back aside from Ridiculous Race. But All Stars made everyone not themselves anymore .

I would personally swap Sam with Brick, since he is more of a worthy contestant, and to fit the 7 Gen 1 and 7 Gen 2. I know it doesn’t work, but I’m not sure what you could do with Owen? And I’ll swap Sierra with Leshawna or Beth, I wouldnt personally choose Beth because you know she isn’t going I win, anyway, great video!
