I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say there's probably about 50% of the original kit left- and most of that appears to be the hull. I've had problems with Hobby Boss kits before, but nothing like this example here. You are a real trooper, getting her in to the shape she's in now. Superlative sculpting skills, as always; that toothpick never ceases to amaze me. Enjoy your coming week.
@klonik792 жыл бұрын
probably less than 50% hobby boss has same issue as trumpeter, they have three teams that do molds. Team A, that makes high quality models on par or better with other companies, Team B that makes models in about same quality as 1970's to mid 1980's revell ... Cheap supermarket shelf quality ... And than there is Team Janitors that makes models like these or worse

Nerves of steel I didn't see those hands shaking one bit, you must live a clean life sir. Excellent work , I have been thinking that as bad as it was to start with and as many modifications as you had to make this could have been converted to the USS Nevada a very forgotten ship from the same era.

That's an out standing work here, good Sir! You've made a real masterpiece out of the basic monstrosity which Hobby Boss calls 'a scale model'... Question, are You planning to paint it? It might be a bit difficult, but as it is right now would look awsome as well on display, just showing the amount of work that piece required.... And, while You're into HB 'wanna be' models, ANY chances of building RN Pola in 1/350 made by them? 🙂
