I’d argue that you are one of the best model makers on KZbin, only Plasmo and Nightshift come close.

Agree and moreover Plasmo is from our country (Czech republic) and Nightshift is “brother” Slovak. Two small countries in the middle of Europe have 2 from 3 most famous model artist. I am proud of them :)

There are no words on Earth to describe the admiration I have for Ebroin's work. Btw, Ebroin, what is the best-looking WW2 battleship in your opinion? I think French, German and Italian battleships were all extremely beautiful. Hope your Tirpitz is doing well :)

Wouldn't it be easier to paint some of those deck details (winches, ammo boxes, railings, etc) before gluing them to the deck? I imagine masking around that delicate photoetch will be quite tedious!

No, not really, tweezers will scratch the paint off from the PE parts, and I don't want to apply super glue on the painted surface. And masking is not that hard, just needs some time and efforts.

Loctite 401.

@@EbroinSong google says that 401 is a fast curing adhesive, so why you can use your knife to apply adhesive so the glue is not so fast?

When you put 4-5 drops of 401, it doesn't dry instantly, it actually takes some time to dry. I use my blade to apply the glue while it is drying.

I also have Veryfire's 1/700 USS Missouri. I'll try 32/22D on that one. Veryfire's kit is better than Tamiya's.
