I think you need to understand that this video indicates number of ships. Many of the listed navies are more precisely coastal defense ships. Think green water or brown water navies rather than blue water naves. Up until recently, the US was the largest navy, but surpassed by China. However, China's navy is not really a blue water navy.

Most of the countries featured in this video do not have actual warships, i.e, frigates, carriers, destroyers, minesweepers, etc. For example, Finland looks mightily impressive with 246 assets, but less so when you discover that the majority (196) are landing craft. Most navies featured in this video operate rigid inflatable boats, not warships. Also, why are landlocked countries featured? The fact that they're landlocked removes any possibility of a navy...

Удивило место положения США, хотя не для кого не секрет что в ыиду доктрины и географического положения вмф США это более 50ти процентов от численного состава всех вооруженных сил данного государства. Не удивлюсь если там численный состав морской пехоты привысит численный состав моторизованных подразделений пехоты сухопутных войск. Сильная сторона вооруженных сил США которую ни когда не стоит сбрасывать со счетов это их первичная диспазиция. Они при своей многочислености распределены по всему шарику. Да это с одной стороны не собран в единое кулак но это возможность наносить удары с ближнего и среднего радиуса со многих мест в особенности близких к побережью. Что вынуждает в случае чего иметь очень мощьные пво в таких местах как Питер, Калининград, Северодвинск, Мурманск,Архангельск,Петропавловск,Владивосток, Севастопаль. Из крупных центров в самом выгрдном положении Новосибирск ну и весь участок от Челябинска и Омска до Иркутска и Читы. Китай географически в весьма не удобном положении - основная инфроструктура на востоке вдоль побержья , а там постоянно рядом базы США помимо того не мвленькие соединения вмф южной кореи и японии( хоть и силы самообороны но не у каждой страны есть такой флот как в японии) . И хреново то что у Китая в зону ближнего радиуса поражения попадает вся его полезная территория. В большом китае не малая часть территорий это не заселенные и малопригодные для жизни высокогорные районы гималайского нагорья. В удаленной западной части китая слабая инфроструктура,хоть и активно развивающаяся.

For ex: We have a very large number of Fast Attack Crafts made in both Israel and Sri Lanka, the count of which would make us a larger Navy than the French Navy. But when it comes to blue water capabilities, firepower and advanced technology, if we ever encounter the French Navy, the consequences would be better left unsaid. In the context of the military, the sheer superiority of numbers doesn`t really add up to anything. If you ask me, North Korea`s active service personnel and their militia are almost 5 times larger than the entire military machine of the United States, but in a conventional confrontation, they`d be sitting ducks to a virtually unseen, far advanced, stealth enemy. Nobody would call them a superpower.

These numbers are misrepresentative and severely distorted. Landlocked Bolivia is shown with 170 “warships”. They have patrol boats for their lakes and rivers, nothing more. It would be more honest to rename this video and/or to make a new one showing actual “warship” numbers. We would see a severe drop in the numbers for Bolivia, not to mention Laos, Uganda, Jordan and Paraguay, all landlocked nations that you list as having “warships”.
