I used to have a 1988 charcoal grey 309GTI. To this day, it is the only car I miss, and wish I could get again.

Our first brand new car was a 1992 309 Graffic with 60 HP. Today we have a 1991 309 Automatic with 89 PS :-)

Nicely put together little video this. Could do with a bit more in depth, I would be kept watching for a lot longer. Got myself a phase 2 1990 309gti a few years back and hands down smiles for miles nothing beats it. Much much rarer than 205, handles like it's on rails and built here in UK. What's not to love

I've got one, unused for the last 20 years sitting in a shed in Germany. If anybody wants it, they can have it for free. It's got no log book, got lost somehow. I've not been able to give it away here, no one's interested. It just needs a new fuel pump, otherwise in excellent condition. White, like the one in the video.

I had an identical car in 1988, to date M3 V8 X5M and loads of other sports cars...nothing involved and rewarded a driver like the 309 GTi.. If you give me it, I'll restore it and keep you involved with life time access to it.

The facelifted version of 1988 looks way better. I had a 1992 GLX and even that was not a bad ride, 90 bhp carburated engine and all.
