I live in Carbondale, Ill., clear skies for us in 2017 and in this year, where we gathered with friends at the high, open town cemetery. The temperature decreased by 9 degrees; the red-shouldered hawk, chipping sparrow, Carolina wren, and crows went silent. Even with cloud cover, the total eclipse was life-affirming, humbling, an affirmation of the Mystery of existence. Thanks for your videos.

Started out clear in western Ohio, but closer to Totality, that some clouds were forming to the west, because of the cooling effect of Totality. Otherwise the view of the Sun was unhindered.
