Hey Lionheart, you can order archer ships to refill ammo while they are still firing. The best time to do that is when they fall to about 50% ammo. Also, once you get the upgrade for your assault ships, the marauders are really strong [Very Heavy] infantry.

The Geats are trade partners with your enemies, and Nordic brigade are still weak (10 melee attack, 10+1 ap damage). You can get access to your top-tier Chosen units through the lowest line of civil techs.

I think that bug when the screen seems to freeze is because it plays the animation (scorced earth after razing city) from another faction which you can't see.

Swap the artisans thing for either a meeting hall for public order and better troops or for the sanitation building

Ships can spread fire to other ships, so it wouldn't be that great of an idea to board a burning vessel or your ship might also be set ablaze. The war council has spoken.

i wished they kept the "giving reinforcement to the AI" option. yes the AI was crept but it was still funnier that way. i just never understood why they made your allies AI ten times worst than the enemy AI, they should be equal.

I dunno if you knew, but if you if you hold Ctrl+G it'll group the units up, not lock their formation. Just tapping G now groups and locks the formation.

This and the co-op play through are easily the best, the Huns is enjoyable but the Saxons not so much - who knows, maybe they'll all be great over time, one things for sure imma be watchin. keep up the good work man and keep the uploads coming.

With your Danes special ability I think once you get done with that pesky enemy fleet in the North Sea you should start raiding near there and their settlement. Will piss them off and get you more money as well.

Next time you have onagars on the shore with an enemy navy, use them to bombard their fleet.

suggestion: with the next battle that is coming up you should try to destroy the fort circle while also try to destroy their onager and try to pull some of their troops out with the Calvary and send in troops to come up behind to destroy the rest of the army.

I actually lost a campaign! Playing as the franks. I build up, than Attack the Western Roman Empire. But nooo, as soon as I do that, half of my armies rebel and I have a civil war in my hands. Before I know it I have Roman and Separatist armies swarming in my lands. Atilla is harder than Rome II for sure, and also a hell lot of fun! Definitely going to give the franks another try!

I expanded fast in my game playing as the Geats, took about 12 settlements. Then I got small pox and it spread everywhere, the attrition is killer. Now I am losing ground to everyone I pissed off. Plus you get a big diplomacy penalty with all smaller factions, think it was -60 for being a large power.

I have to say, with a mechanical hard drive my load times are at least 50% faster in than Rome 2, on similar settings. Was going to upgrade to an SSD but to save a few seconds, at the moment it just isn't that important, for me anyway.

Don't control large army, its to difficult to manage both armies, and you make lots of mistakes. In the first battle you couldn't mange both the army and the navy

I learned a few things from watching this, but some things I can't figure out and now it annoys me! On the tech tree you click something and get the stats or the path you need to take to get a certain unit. How? All I can get is the encyclopedia. Why can you see the range of enemy towers when I can't? How do you get the soldier stats to the left on the battlescreen?

on the character details you can kick from office, after 1 turn they will return to the character pool as a statesmen and can be put in charge of something else or left there

So has the AI improved over Napoleon, Medieval, Empire, etc? because i remember the AI was horrible in Napoleon and Empire, and i have heard that it was at its worst in Rome 2, so could someone elaborate if it has gotten better or if it still is just slapped-together, half-ass etc.

Jutes is the latin word for us and has nothing to do with us so no... In old norse we where called "jòtar" and we're called "jyder" now in Danish. So LH is pronouncing it correct as it's the latin name for us and not the real name. :)

Can anyone please help? When I recruit units on attila it doesn't show me their stats! Only the top bit like "good at capturing" etc but the bottom bit with the attack and defence stats isn't there, anyone know how to get it on? Don't want to keep having to right click to see their stats :-(

I think until you conquer everything because it never says to finish the campaign before x date so far as I know (though there are at least 3 different types of victory. Then again, you can only achieve one by completing at least one of the other 2)
