*Update after part 11*, lionheart has since beginning of the Lp Won 20 battles and lost 3 battles. He fought 15 battles himself and auto resolve 8 battles. He killed 34366 men of the enemies and lost 10051 of his own men. *He won/lost:* 9/1 battles with the Dread of the Steppes. Status: alive 12/0 battles with the Bloodletters. Status: alive 1/2 battles with the Steeds of Doom. Status: alive (reinstate legacy)

Maybe something to consider for the future as a strategic decision: When attacking a settlement, especially factions that are further away, it may be wiser not to raze them, but to only sack their settlements. If you only sack them, you may be able to come back and sack them again, effectively creating a money-bank for yourself, whilst you can't raze a settlement that's razed down.

You might want to look into getting Champions for your Horde. The Exp they train counteracts the replenishmentaction after fights and they have a skill to buff your armies replenishment. Should allow you to rest less and be on the move/fight more!

Try razing all the settlements of Asia Minor that ERE controls, and then see if they will become your tributary state. You need to focus more on getting client states, as they will help you maintain economic solvency even when you aren't encamped. Having the ERE as a client state could make you powerful indeed, as they are very wealthy and control very fertile provinces.

heathenwizard Campaign AI is so stubborn in the current version of the game that they will not submit to a tributary state willingly. You pretty much HAVE TO raze all their cities then subjugate the capital to get a tributary state.

Gferd176 Same as in Rome 2. Pointless diplomacy that never works. You could have 40 provinces and a tiny one region-faction will still refuse to become tributary state even though you are moments away from destroying them.

***** That happened to me! I subjugated the nothern provinces and made them puppet states. But the next war I went into they refused to join and they all lost puppet state status and turned on me. I lost a ton of income and they are all free states again. Really weird and pointless.

Robin Fontijne was this Rome 2 or Attila? What was your faction's dominion? Did your faction leader die? I've heard that your puppet states' willingness to join you and remain loyal largely depends on your faction leader's influence and dominion.

The sassanids can muster a lot of armies very quickly because of their amazing economy and pretty fertile lands. And with the help of their client states (which they will have because they're all very reliable) they will have around 20 armies and a bunch of land.

I think the killing of the general is a tad OP, you routed an entire roman army that had just killed a bunch of dudes and still had good numbers. Plus the AI was a bit silly not realising something must be up when only a tiny fraction of your force was visible, and still deciding to attack head on.

My tactic after enemy retreat I will march all horse archer with rectangle formation and use an arrow to destroy them. 26:20
