Attila is massively underrated. Sadly got sandwiched between the Warhammer and Rome 2 era CA. Might have been the last gasp of decent historical Total war tbqh.

Played Medieval 2 Tutonic campaign a few weeks back, pikes are a bit weird. They can either be the most cost-effective unit (I successfully defended a city against a lot of missiles and missile cavs with only two pikes unit standing side by side) or just dumb (raises pike after enemy archer come down from the wall). Overall, pretty fun but also a bit frustrating.

Great campaign but I always thought the graphics of Attila were so lacklustre compared to Rome 2; its like its using a thousand sprites instead of real models and they sort of just glide along the map instead of really running/galloping. I dont know why this is. I think part of it is the camera is just set higher automatically. Idk though.
