Even the chain mails' textures are pretty good in older titles in my opinion or at least not as ugly and "rubberish" as Troy. This is my personal opinion of course.

@@pisipart2026 Three Kingdoms has sync kill animations, which is better than not having any. Rome 2 and Atilla's gameplay was sluggish and made cavalry engagements redundant because troop combat and formations were stupidly rigid.

If sync combat was all you were interested in, i bet you haven't been a Total War fan for very long... Shogun 2 was the only game where Sync combat was perfect because of the lacking Troop variety and was era-perfect... Rome 2 and Atilla's synced combat animations made infantry battles a slog and frankly boring. Three Kingdoms is the next best thing since it's very much similar to Medieval 2's style of combat gameplay. Instead of having one on one dedicated troop combat, instead they opted for just sync kill animations which is honestly preferable. I hope with the blood and gore DLC, CA implement troop kill animations... but only time will tell. I still don't undestand why a historical-esque title like Troy won't just use the 3k gameplay system and instead opted for Warhammer 2.

Waterloo is a bit hard because there is no game for that, Napoleon TW isn't enough to make a cinematic video. I already made the Siege of Constantinople but I'm planning to make it again with better graphics! :)

The game is very cool, but Achilles was untouchable. It looked like Hector was beating Achilles for a moment lol. But other than that, it’s a great game.

It used to be Hector being a better duelist until they beefed up Achilles. Hector might've been a better commander and possibly have better units(Probably due to Hector's alliance-building buff). I don't think it needs to be fixed, unless they decide to give Greeks some archers but according to some KZbinrs, Trojan factions have better early-game units in comparison to the Archean factions early-game units. Everyone plays Troy will most likely use the archer strategy.

They were equals in skill, Hector was the best the Trojans had to offer, and Achilles fought him for a while before beating him. He couldn’t just go out like the average light infantry troop.

That's because due to the way heavy armored units are balanced, Achilles almost never wins against Hector in the game. There's a video showing that in a set of 10 1v1 matches, Achilles was only ever able to beat Hector 3 times.

Because it was a stupid feature that didn't make sense. It was added in shogun 2 where it made sense as single duels were important. In Rome 2 and Attila it made no sense, why would 2 people stay in a duel and everyone else not attack them. It also ruined formations and made infantry fights take way too long.

@@NedimCanIncebay 3k is a very good opus. they have greatly improved diplomacy as well as the administrative side (even if it is sometimes a bit heavy). on the other hand the battles are epic and this is the first time that they seem immense! for having had troy with the epic offer, even for free it is not worth it 😅 do you think you will fight on the thrid age mod?

Actually there is more than that but these ''spin'' moves are combination of different animations, they are not always the same but I couldn't show it clearly because as I said in description I had to record all of these scenes within 3-4 hours, that's what I could find. I couldn't even use most of them. But ofc it is also not that much, probably +8 or 9 .

Because you have to do some researches on that period concerning the weapons and armor, cause the time of Troy, isn't the same as the classical period, and the Corinthian Helmet appeared pretty much 10 centuries after

the game is really fun the only thing is that they could touch up how the character looks like better graphics and more fight animations for the infantry and everything just everything when the heros fight they have a nice amount of battle animations too but yeah. another thing they could do is more like things on siege battles it looks so bland like the walls and stuff and more things u could do with siege equipment. Also idk if there trying to make this game a kid friendly game but more gore would be really nice touch up for this game

For me, it's better than I expected! That was the old build we had and it had some graphical issues etc etc. I hope they fix it and it will be better. The regular troops' animations are the real problem for me but I can do something for that. :)
