A shame we didn't get Hywel Dda to be honest, then the southern accent would be proper. Although come to think of it the accents from those times would be completely different anyway, so it doesn't matter. Notice how they've got a relatively Northern accent for the Southern Irish as well

I haven't been this excited for a total war game in a long time, not since Rome II was announced. Hope it delivers. My biggest concern is Battles they seem to have gone to a more Arcade way of quick fights I'd like to see infantry slog it out in hard fights that will last unless you flank or have ranged support, make you use tactics as apposed to just getting the best units and sending them head to head to win in quick bouts.

In fairness they are trying to be being accurate for the period, e.g. middle Welsh for Gwynedd is "Guynet". Thats why they have "Mierce" and "West Seaxe" instead of "Mercia" and "Wessex"

What made Rodri great was managing to unite Powys and gwynedd to form a stronger wales to fight off the Mercians and later the Vikings
