Some may ask why should I watch another lizardmen lore video when there are so many other youtubers who have done this already? I say cause each one is rather unique and with its own style of telling the story of each faction. I say your video here is a fantastic addition to all the lore videos on youtube, and I enjoy each of your videos very much!

Of all the races of warhammer the lizardmen stand out as one of my favorites. I love that they use what amounts to fantasy dinosaurs as war beasts and even their most basic infantry resemble them.

That actually depends on where you want to look and in what edition. The lizard men were changed several times and made to fit in with existing lore. Originally the skaven were responsible when they blew up skavenblight with their essentially atomic bomb which shook the earth itself and collapsed most of the underway. However their is conflicting lore that states that the actual cause of the collapse was that the slann thought the mountains were not in the right place or something like that and decided to move them. I prefer the Skaven lore but technically they are both correct or could be.

@@fountainchristain Only if they don't know their opponent. Slann can easily use their hyper-massive brain-power to effectively figure out a strategy in seconds, so unless they have no idea who their foe is, then they will ultimately not "Fall Asleep".

@@Nazqua you do understand I was using the asleep thing to mean they are in a point of inactivity or unsuretity also they are massively powerful yes and unable to be remade which is why they don't lead every battle but my point was that being that much smarter than your opponent can also be a problem when they do something that catches you off guard it's the debate of what type of general is better strategic vs instinct

I think one is a hero and one is a lord, lore wise idk but maybe old blood is spawned and veterans have just lived very long.

Old bloods are much more ancient from the time of the great catastrophe. Scared veterans are just Saurus who have performed well and proven there status

Basically a Scar Veteran is incredibly old and battle hardened compared to Standard Saurus while an Old blood is incredibly old and battle hardened compared to Scar Veterans. However not all Lizardmen are born equally for Example Gor-Rok the Great White Lizard is really Young by Lizardmen standards, but he's absolutely massive and unique, while Krok-Gar was relatively normal by Saurus Standards, but he's absolutely ancient.

They actually do eat, but they don't have to for very extended periods of time. Think of it as hibernation, but the Skink attendants will bring food to the Temple Guard and the Slann.

I wouldn't say that, personally I'd say at the moment Greenskins are the weakest race, since they generally have shit leadership, pretty bad low tier infantry, and a lack of strong monsters outside of the Aracnorok.
