In my opinion the Mudmaster is the baddest watch on the planet. It’s an amazing workhorse in a GM plant where I work in the materials department. I deal with rusty containers, oily parts and all the grime of parts coming in from over seas. It doesn’t have a scratch on it with the beating it takes daily. I have the comparisons and reviews from this channel to thank for helping me with my decision to get this beast. I love everything about the mudmaster. Thank you so very much on all the information you give on g shock. Next on my list is going to be the gulfmaster for fishing trips in the Great Lakes and in open water

I decided on a GGB-100 bc of its additional sensors, app connection to smart phone and was half the price of the GWG-1000. After using it for some time I began to notice the GGB-100 is lighter and has resin coating on the back of the watch which means it is extremely comfortable. I forget to take it off my wrist and wear it to sleep sometimes as a result of the resin coating on the back instead of a steel case back. The resin also means less weight overall. I wear it every single day. Only downside of mine is it lacks solar power and is battery operated. Why can’t Casio make a solar power GGB-100?

You do make good videos! Screw lock bezel is wrong though, you mean screw lock crown as the bezel is where the world time cities are stamped. Just trying to help keep up the good vids!

This is my review of your review: It seem to me, that you are using someone else video WITH their permission, and adding your own audio. If a viewer didn't read the description thoroughly, one might assume it was a 100% original content create by you. One could also feel deceived and mislead as well. I would have suggested giving that channel that you borrowed the the video portion recognition at the beginning of your audio. And in closing, people who review products actually use them, in your case it seems your reading specs. off the manufacture site. Shouldn't it be about how you personally feel about the product?..Just my 2 cents.

I have a question about the 200m water resistant I know it doesn't have a depth meter but can you use the barometer air pressure within the one through 10 Under Pressure to see how many meters your diving down. or is there any other way.

Great question, Eri. All of the GWG-1000 mudmaster watches have the same features. The only difference between them comes down to the colorway (1A, 1A3, DC-1A5, MH-1A, etc). Hope this helps

As a master of G series casio should stamp a cool animal on the back of the watch as they did with the mudman and the rangeman and the frogman...I know its not a big deal but it's the small things that add to the feel/quality of the watch overall.

Watching your videos, I have been trying to decide about getting a new watch and am thinking about the bigger Mud Master model. In one of your comparison videos I noticed a picture of one having some sort of protective accessory over the top and bottom portion of the face that appeared to be a couple wires or smallish bars that would seem to keep the bezel and crystal that much more protected, and considering the price of some of these watches, doesn't seem like a bad idea to do whatever extra can be done. Do you know what this device or protective piece is? Who sells it? Is it an accessory that can be purchased with or from Casio, or is it a completely aftermarket deal? That aside... I'm having a hard time deciding between replacing my 2015 Casio Pathfinder Pag 240t, that has a few scrapes and scratches, still works..(paid 186.00 in 2015) or go With a new Protrek, 2500 or prw3500t 7cr series or go G shock like a Mudmaster but staying under $300.00 ... NEED your best advice. Daily use watch... Yet still rugged and classy

Can you confirm that the large numbers on the dial 12,3,6,9 do in fact have the afterglow feature on this particular model (glow in the dark when exposed to bright light before hand) Being that they are gray in color where the watch hands are white i would be surprised if the numbers actually glow like the other models. howtoPR0 I don’t believe the gg1000 has a sapphire crystal but the GWG-1000 does. If you can afford the GWG-1000 I would highly recommend it. I’ve had mine for almost 2 years now and love it.

I've heard the same thing - that only the hands have Neo-Brite, not the markers or numerals. With the GWG-1000-1A3 the hands, markers, numerals and second hand tip are all luminescent.

Yes. Use bottom left button to select your mode to TEMP. Unscrew and pop out the crown it'll go into settings, press B until UNIT appears and give crown a turn til change from C to F You can do that for all the modes such as Altimeter from Metres to Feet or Barometer from hPa to Hg

Yes. To turn on or off. In timekeeping mode unscrew and pull out crown. Press B (bottom left) 3 times until AUTO appears in left of digital display. Rotate crown to select either On or Off Push crown back in and re-tighten

@@TotalGShockers - lately it's turning on and off when I least expect it. Even with brand new batteries and lubricated seal. One minute I check the time and it's completely turned off. And it turns on whenever it feels like it. Lol. it could be an hour or a few minutes if not a few days. it's been like this for the past 2 months already. I've even taking it to a few jewelry makers but they're tend to get a bit hesitant and sometimes give me small excuses, they feel that they might be liable in case something does happen. Then they tell me just contact Gshock. I just gave a smirk response. Bro the watche is old like if they actually care. But that's another conversation. When I found my watch it was at a good price just a little bit above $170 dollars. Even though I do want to upgrade the price difference is very noticeable if you know what I mean.

So Juan, let's figure this out and find a G-Shock that is at least comparable to your GA1000, gives you what you want, and doesn't break your bank. Lol. So what features did you like most about your Gravitymaster that you want in your next G-Shock? And what features most interest you when it comes to looking for your next G-Shock watch that you don't have in the Gravitymaster? Bigger case size, triple sensor, world time to more cities, tough solar, etc.?

+Anonymous Maximus Great question. Tough solar = no need to change the battery...ever. So to charge the Mudmaster, make sure you have a great light source (sunlight, for example) hitting the face of the watch and you're good to go. I recommend even getting a charger for solar powered watches. I have one of those and it works perfectly! Definitely a great investment especially when getting a watch like the Mudmaster.
