Hi, is there a way to determine when an instance of these gwg-1000 was produced? I would like to buy them but do not want to get an old instance for a battery reason as they have been manufactured since 2015... thanks!

I really wanted this model's clock face (white numerals/hands + yellow accents) but wanted the 1A's black strap. You just gave me enough reasons to choose this model when I was contemplating getting the 1A just for the black strap. The white numerals/hands + yellow accents really adds "pop" to the watch's good looks.

Don't think i've seen one that has Japan GE and CE under Shock Resist. Is GE the new Casio plant? The back plate lettering looks to be bigger as well. All factory codes in Japan: T - Tokyo Factory H - Hachioji Factory K - Kofu Factory Y - Yamagata Factory GE - ??????????????? Please let me know!!! 2. What is the difference from GWG 1000 1A3 Vs GWG 1000 1A3JF this is Japan Factory / JDM (Japan Domestic Market)? 3. The bar code at the box says GWG 1000 1A3CR made in Japan, what is this other code CR?
