It’s funny how Mark kept bringing up Karin not counting as Goku’s friend due to not being de-aged, yet Sea Turtle was also ignored in the discussion. He’s the entire reason why Goku was able to have a purpose after the Pilaf Saga, introducing him to Roshi and all that after Goku went out of his way to protect and return him to sea, yet he’s not Goku’s friend.

So, regarding Gohan, 2 things: -He was 4 during Radditz, 5 during Sayan and so he 6yo Gohan was the one we saw briefly when Mecha-Freeza shows up, 1 year after Namek. But also, I think they don't show him because of ALL the characters, Gohan is the only one who has recollection of fighting at a very fucking high level at 6yo. Think about it, Vegeta was a fighter but his power never exceeded what we see in Sayan Arc. 6 Years Old Gohan on the other hand had already been awoken by Guru and fought Freeza. He knows what's it's like to fly and use his ki and use this range to an extent NO ONE in the series is able to. If anything, he is the Ace because being in a life or death superfight as a 6 years old was his lot for a LONG TIME.

No you’re right though, Shenron has seemed annoyed when being summoned more than once I’m sure (though I can’t remember specific scenes). So for him to reward regular summoners feels like it must be forced upon him, or we retcon that annoyance.

My theory on Gohan. He will show up eventually. He was included in the group shot in the first episode. My thought is that he is off studying. Trying to get caught up on all the lost time he’s had in his studies, he decides to go to the room of spirit and time to get a bunch of studying in. I also believe that for some reason the room will have blocked the wish from affecting gohan, leaving him the only adult.

0:52 I think the wish about Goku's friends included his family and the people he took to kami's lookout when buu was on a rampage. It kinda fits since Korin is not Goku's family and he wasn't in the people that were took to Kami's lookout in the buu saga. ( I just started watching the vid...so for anyone reading this, this was my reasoning for the wish before finishing the vid. If they explain it better or they say something similar to my comment keep this in mind)

In the ROF arc in Super the Pilaf gang got 3 wishes, not 1. The first was to wish back Freeza, the second was for Zeni, and the 3rd was for ice-cream. In the movie it was only 2 which didn’t make sense, but they just didn’t get there ice-cream

It will never not feel weird listening to people talk about the dragon ball shows using the "English terms and names"... In latin Spanish at least, the show left 99% of the names in Japanese. Very few were adapted... So all the techniques sound weird to us when translated... But oddly enough... And the reason why I bring this comment... Nyoubou? Never heard that before... In Spanish it was the equivalent to Sacred Staff/Cane... Since that was one of the very few to actually be translated and apparently in English it was not... In Spanish we also got the "flying cloud"... And there end the translations in Spanish probably... Ah... We also got Milk instead of Chichi... Since chichi in Spanish translates or rather is a word used for Boobs... So we just got something closely related instead...

In our old dubs, the Nyoibo was called the "Power pole", Kinto-un was "Flying Nimbus". Our translation of the manga though, kept the Japanese names, so people who read that are used to those names in America

Actually, there were no senzu beans used during their fight against any of the buu's. The only senzu bean that was used, was used to heal videl after her fight with spopovich, who is not related to buu, but to babidi. So, it kinda makes sense korin hasn't gotten young. Since, the wish stated was make the ones who fought majin buu and their friends young. However, this would also make it look like korin is not goku's friend, so its in the air😅
