God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest! Seek God today before it's too late! Today could be your last day on earth! Have a blessed day! --

There’s a lot more to it than that. He does mock drafts and write ups on every draft pick & prospect. Breaks down their tape, memorizes stats, combine numbers. We’re talking hundreds of players. Has to be ready to break down every player with every pick on live TV in detail, even a well informed fan probably knows anything about 15-30 prospects at the most.

In defense of the Colts, Trev Albert's career was derailed mostly due to injuries. He didn't really have a history of being injury prone in college so you really couldn't have predicted that. Without those injuries, might have been a different story.
@ultrustic
@ultrustic 2 жыл бұрын
@@DWargs Trent Dilfer at least went to a pro bowl. however, i think the big issue was the pick for Trev Albert for number 5. The Colts panicked and trade up after seeing Willie McGinnest get taken at number 4. The Colts could have stayed at number 7 and still get Trev Alberts at that spot.... or better yet get one of the DT like Bryant Young or Sam Adams. I think the Colts really wanted Willie McGinnest as so many stories out there suggested that. They made the trade to move up because they were afraid of not getting the LB they wanted.

Kiper is aware enough to know he's going to be wrong a lot - I have heard him say many times in pre draft shows 'we are all just guessing'. The problem is that he can't actually say that during the draft or nobody would watch so he comes out super positive or negative when really most picks fall into a grey area of uncertainty.

I feel like most of these might have been easy. I like the idea of the video but a deeper dive into some more diamond in the rough pics that Mel kiper was right about for each team but less people also had as a good player would have been cool to see. Most of these don't seem like he was necessarily right about a player, as much as most analysts were on point with this player.

Jury's still out on Fournette. If he was taken like 20th overall nobody would be calling him a bust. He had 2 1k+ rushing seasons with the Jags who have an average oline, and he was constantly facing 8 man boxes. He's become a much better pass catcher, and is still only like 25 with not a lot of tread on him in the NFL. If he goes to a good fit where he's the lead back, I think he can get back to his 1K rushing form. LeGarrette Blount was apparently done after his first couple seasons, and when he landed in NE he had 700+ rush yards on 4.4ypc and 7 total TDs. Then when he took over the lead back role the next year he went for 1,161 yards and a league leading 18 rushing TDs and dude was like 29. It's definitely not over for Fournette who's way more talented than Blount was. Edit: Also god I remember thinking Doug Martin was going to have a HOF career I loved that dude so much prior to that draft.

Tebow RND1 wasn't a smart pick for the Broncos, but at the same time Tebow got Denver to the playoffs. Without that post season, I don't think Peyton Manning goes to the Broncos. His logic being, if Tebow can take them to the playoffs, I can take them to the Superbowl. So it wasn't the right pick, but it was a good pick for Denver. As odd as that sounds.

Dilfer was ok he was like a C+ to B- starter.He was way better in college but many go to the pros and can say that. The 2 best qbs based on most peoples view from that very draft class were Kurt Warner and Jeff Garcia who both went undrafted. Both were immensely lucky they were given a shot because many never do who go undrafted. What did Mel think of both of them is my question? Granted both of them could of been much worse at the time but part of drafting is talent and potential. Russ Wilson fell to round 3 because most GMs view him as a midget. Even Drew Brees fell to round 2 because he was called 2 short by his haters.

Can you imagine if before the next draft the team picking tenth told whoever has the first pick that it will give them every pick in this year's draft PLUS next year's 1st and 3nd? The biggest "WHY" to me was why didn't the Browns jump on this opportunity? It was their first year back and they gave up the chance of making the team respectable to take Tim Couch?????🤔😱🤢

I know people commented on Josh Allen appearing on both this and the "wrong about" lists, but I actually feel like that's the most understandable of all the double-ups; Allen's case is a case of something actually changing with the player, while Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel being on this list just shows that Kiper clearly *did* have an accurate assessment of their capabilities and was just wrong about how teams would perceive them (going back to the earlier list, literally everything mentioned in those two entries is technicalities about when and how they were drafted, rather than actual assessments of the players). It honestly makes TPS look lazy for including them in the earlier list -- could TPS seriously not find picks for either team (keeping in mind that one was the BROWNS) that Kiper was *fundamentally* wrong about, as opposed to just incorrectly estimating their draft stock?

Juju as a good pick is looking like it's just wrong, he's never shown WR1 potential and has been ineffective since AB left and stopped drawing doubleteams all game. I still agree with the Giants taking Saquon. Everybody had them taking Darnold and Darnold is garbage. Josh Allen just had a career year after the addition of Stefon Diggs, so in NY he would have been without an elite #1 receiver to this day. Hopefully Golladay is that #1 we need. Josh Rosen is straight trash and Lamar Jackson would not survive NY. The fact that he can not win games with his arm alone would not fly in this market. Folding in big moments like he does, after years of Eli Manning playing lights out on the biggest stages would have more fans than not turning on him at this point. Hopefully now, with weapons, and if we can just make the offensive line serviceable....Daniel Jones will break out. If not, I really dont think any of the available QBs from the 2018 draft would be doing any better in NY.

It’s very difficult to predict how a player will shake out in the NFL. For all you know, they can tear an acl on the first day of practice and be done. You don’t know whether the player will gel with the coaching staff. You don’t know if a player is having struggles with his girlfriend or his marriage. There are so many variables that are hard to measure along with random factors that can influence how good someone’s NFL career is.
