I know man. Once Romo went down, on top of Dez' own injuries it was pretty much a wrap. Dak didn't have the arm talent to get Dez the ball the way he needed it. I remember Romo calling a Cowboys game back in 17-18 I believe, and he was describing how Dez has to have the ball thrown to him a certain way because he wasn't the fastest guy or the best route runner

Yes and no. If you're comparing their short dominant years to Davis' gotta remember Davis ran off a 2k and 2 superbowls during that stretch, so that's why he's in. If you can't add SB champion in with all those accolades. Doesn't really separate them from the pack. Unfortunately RB is just like WR, there's a lot of dominants throughout nfl history, with short and long tenures with no trophy. On the other hand they should get in on their own merit. That would definitely mean Bo Jackson, rightfully, gets in

Rooting for your recovery to continue. Nnamdi and Josh Norman's (Panthers db) are very similar in that regard. Went to Washington and was just a terrible fit. Still a good player at the time, just terrible scheme fit. I can't believe you compared Terrell Davis in comparison to Holmes. TD was much more productive in 7 seasons compared to Holmes 11. Especially in Superbowls. Holmes SB stats are non existent basically. He had 4 carries for 8yrds and 1 catch for 4 yrds. Davis has 157 rushing yrds in 3 quarters. Still a record 3 rushing TDs. +3 catches for 12 yrds. In SB total 55 carries 259yrds in 2 SB. In his 8 postseason games from 1996 to 1998, his numbers were staggering: 204 carries for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with 19 receptions for 131 yards. QHe's still only one of 8 players to rush for 2,000yrds in his career. The 4th when done. He is also a 6 time probowl, 4 x 1st team all pro, 2 x NFL offensive player of the year. NFL All Decade teamÀ for the 90's. On top of that hes help the Broncos win 2 Superbowls and was MVP in the SB win in 98 against Greenbay. And I can go on. So I would say that Terrell Davis was deserving of the HOF much more than Holms.

How can you make a comment like that first sentence then go ahead and compare one game in a SB as an example. Priest was an undrafted rookie or second year player when he went to the SB with the ravens, TD was in the prime of his career. Just a terrible example to prove your point. While I agree TD was probably better, there are a lot of comparisons to them both

Absolutely. John Jefferson was on track for a Hall of Fame career but after leaving San Diego, his career swiftly declined. Duane Thomas could be an honorable mention. He had the potential to become an all time great and was a rising star of the early 70s Cowboys teams, contributing greatly to their SBVI victory, but couldn't keep his head straight and was out of the NFL within a few years. I remember Bob Lilly saying Duane Thomas reminded him of Jim Brown in the America's Game documentary for the 1971 Cowboys.

You know, I actually respect the discipline it must have taken to not make this entire list WRs and Running Backs. Seriously. Hell, you mention a couple in the video alone. Miles Austin, Jamal Lewis lol.

I wonder in the future will any running backs be able to make it into the hall anymore since the position is so devalued these days and teams move on from running backs so quickly these days?

Denver also brought in Emmanuel Sanders while Welker was with the Broncos, so Welker didn't have the targets he did while in New England. Julian Edelman was a better version of Welker for the Pats though, and Jules has a better chance at a gold jacket.

Wes Welker is a HoF lock i don't know what this video is on about. He is the one constant the two most dominant offenses in NFL history. He also single handedly changed how teams used the slot receiver for over a decade. He will be in canton with 0 doubts in my mind.
