No one expected the Commanders' defense to be good. It gave up 30 points per game last year. It wasn't all going to be fixed in one offseason. Washington- Slow defensive start? Our defense was the backbone of our team? Like sure maybe two or three years ago but not nowadays. It’s mostly made up of 1st round busts, Journeymen, and rookies.
