Caldera easily. I own both. Elite sounds robotic and unnatural next to analog livelyness of Caldera. But I generally prefer ZMF tuning to most other headphones.

love the wood pattern on Caldera, just cant resist ZMf classic style and elegance, if I only had money for them all 🤣🤣 (have my olive wood VC its priceless closed back)

I own both and I can honestly say you can't go wrong going one way or the other. I do appreciate what Zach was able to do w/ the Caldera's as the driver being a planar sounds like something in between a dynamic and planar driver. It's like he gave us the best of both worlds in his caldera driver design.

Caldera is more detailed , more natural timbre , less into your face , more Soundstage and way better seperation

​@@38201270298depends on your chain . I heard it with bliss+Holo May , questyle CMA twelve master and an Ibasso dap 320 max TI and it was never harsh . I am very sensitive to harsh sounds since I am very young and Caldera was never harsh at all

I definitely want to get a zmf at some point. Any good choices under $800? I think meze 109 pro might be my next purchase…..but I can’t demo it. I blind bought my XS and fiio ft3 and love them.
