@@cloremaemabida2018 Ok, well I looked up some performances from after this and, well, yeah. kzbin.info/www/bejne/foTZiIaPnLiAY8k kind of speaks for itself. It seems like the power present in this performance is still there, he just doesn't have a good sense of pitch at his age and can't control it properly. So that's why this show is so heavily autotuned! Honestly, I don't mind the autotune on this; he sounds great even with the post-production, and unlike a lot of live albums/performances, the autotune isn't incredibly heavy (the autotune on Kansas - Leftoverture live and beyond absolutely ruins the record for me, performances are great but the auto tune is too much). But before you write him off as a washed up singer who's capitalizing on his former position in a legendary band, check this out kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpvapqN-fpmUaac . In a studio, he still has it. Probably a lot of post production but he still kills it here I think.

Go to 3:48........this interaction and power is where I come to worship at the alter of music. Luke melodically owning his solo, and the rhythm section becoming "one" that drives this massive machine into what i consider to be musical nirvana.

Even though there isn't much of the original Toto here, the lineup is noteworthy. Simon Phillips on drums - my brother and musician friends know that Simon is tops with me. Leland Sklar on bass - saw him live with James Taylor 100 years ago, he is on about a million albums. Greg Philinganes on keys - he is on the same million albums in the collections we had. Bobby Kimball's voice and squishy eyes when he sings, I always liked that about his style [c

I'm transcribing this song in GuitarPro (5.2 of course!) and it's rewarding but difficult. Any other guitarists out there know what chord Steve plays at 0:15-0:16? I'm wracking my brain here. I tabbed what it looks like (as opposed to what I'd tabbed by listening), and it doesn't sound quite right.
I really want to hope that the Autotune is just there for effect, but I'm concerned it was an afterthought. Great performance regardless, but live should sound live, not corrected.
